lillian knew that the group were taking a chance on the dixon brothers, they could be planning on robbing the group blind but no one could be forsure, it was weird when daryl left merle alone with the group to go hunting, lillian knew that merle and herself would never get along, not with the way he talked to her or stella.

dale was stood ontop of his RV, being a lookout, lori had decided she was going to go somewhere, lillian assuming to go and get water or something along those lines meaning that she would have to keep an eye on carl, it had annoyed lillian that lori would always leave carl but lillian wasn't going to judge someone else because of the way they parent.  lillian was teaching stella to read properly instead of the gibberish that she would say.

stella had always been good at school but she never wanted to go, so lillian having to stay seated with her daughter to keep her focused. glenn as well as a bunch of other people in the group had gone into the city for more supplies.

"i like reading." stella said while looking at the pictures instead of the words which made lillian chuckle "that's because you aren't looking at the words and trying to comprehend what's going on in the story." lillian said with a small smile "hey, stella" carl said while sitting next to lillian while majority of the group rushed towards the radio, though lillian and stella stayed in place.

lillian's thoughts couldn't help but drift off to stella's father, the guy she had been with him since ninth grade, she couldn't see past the warning signs that he had so blatantly put out, she had always been utterly in love with him, she would never deny that but she knew when she had fallen pregnant she would never let her daughter see the abuse that happened.

"i love you, mom." stella said while looking up at her mother "i love you more, hun." she said while placing a kiss on her daughters temple, carl watching them with a smile on his face "where's your dad?" carl asked "i never knew him, it's better that way though." stella said while "carl! time for a haircut." lori said making carl groan but walk over to his mother anyways, stella following to keep him company.

lillian climbed up onto the top of the RV, to join dale and to keep him company while he looked around for walkers. "hello" lillian said with a small smile on her face, dale greeted her but then they heard a loud car alarm, lillian quickly got off of the RV and walked to her daughter who stood up and leaned into her moms side. "is it them? are they back?" amy asked while the group walked closer. "ill be damned." dale said quietly, though everyone heard him.

"what is it?" amy asked "a stolen car is my guess." dale replied "whys it makin' that noise?" stella asked while looking up at her mom "when someone breaks into a car without the key it'll make a loud alarm like that one" lillian said while a red sports car drove up to them, shane walked over angrily while glenn got out of the car with a bright smile on his face. "holy crap. turn that damn thing off!" dale yelled "i don't know how!" glenn replied.

"pop the hood, please. pop the damn hood, please." shane said "my sister andrea-" amy said "pop the damn hood!" shane yelled "what? okay okay. yeah yeah yeah yeah!" glenn said, with everyone trying to yell over the alarm it was hard to decipher what everyone was saying. "yeah, fine. everybody is. well, merle not so much." glenn said once the alarm was off. "you crazy? driving this wailing bastard up here? you tryna draw every walker for miles?" shane said angrily.

"i think we're okay." dale said "the noise was bouncing off the mountains, hard to track where it was coming from." lillian said "you call being stupid okay?" shane asked. "it wouldn't hurt you to think things through a little more carefully next time, would it?" dale asked, pointing in glenn's direction. "sorry." glenn replied.
