"are you sure you'll be able to do this lillian?" rick asked making lillian roll her eyes "yes, i hit my head and had a seizure, it's normal for me." she replied, another lie, it was only normal when she was around alex, whenever she had hit her head after she left him she never had a seizure again.

"how long has this girl been lost?" hershel asked "this'll be day three." rick replied "county survey map. shows terrain and elevations." maggie said unrolling the map on the hood of the van. "this is perfect. we can finally get this thing organized." shane said while they placed rocks at every corner of the map.

"we'll grid the whole area, start searching in teams." rick said "not you. not today. you gave three units of blood. you wouldn't be hiking five minutes in this heat before passing out. and your ankle- push it now, you'll be laid up a month, no good to anybody." hershel said "guess it's just me.. and lillian." daryl said with a quieter voice when saying the woman's name.

"we'll head back to the creek, work our way from there." daryl said to rick "ill watch stella, she hadn't left carls room yet so it won't be hard." maggie said while rubbing a hand down lillian's back "thank you." the ginger replied "i can still be useful. ill drive up the interstate see if sophia wandered back." shane said "all right, tomorrow then." rick said.

"we'll start doing this right." rick continued "that means we can't have our people out there with just knives. they need the gun training we've been promising them." shane said "i'd prefer you not carrying guns on my property. we've managed so far without turning this into an armed camp." hershel said.

"all due respect, you get a crowd of those things wondering in here-" shane started "shane, he's letting us stay here the least we can do is respect his wishes." lillian said as rick placed his gun on the hood of the car making shane do the same. "first things first: set camp, find sophia." rick said "i hate to be the one to ask, but somebody's got to. what happens if we find her and she's bit? you think we should all be clear on how we handle that." shane said.

"you do what has to be done." rick said "if she is.. after.. putting her to rest?" lillian said with question in her voice "are we going to bury her? we did make a promise to bury our own." lillian said again making everyone look at her. "and her mother? what do you tell her?" maggie asked. "the truth." andrea said. "ill gather and secure all the weapons." shane said "make sure no one's carrying till we're at a practice range off site. i do request one rifleman on look out. dales got experience." the man continued. "our people would feel safer, less inclined to carry a gun." rick replied, hershel nodded obviously hating the idea "thank you." rick said.

"that stuff you brought, got more antibiotics, bandages, anything like that?" maggie asked "just what you've seen." andrea replied "we're running short already, i should make a run into town." maggie told her father. "not the place shane went?" rick said "no, there's a pharmacy just a mile down the road. i've done it before." maggie replied "see our man there in the baseball cap? that's glenn, our go-to-town expert. i'd ask him along just to be cautious." rick said "poor glenn." lillian said with a smile before walking away.

"i think i like maggie." glenn said coming up to lillian with a scared look on his face. "what?" lillian replied but before glenn could reply maggie walked over "i hear you're fast on your feet and know how to get in and out." maggie said which caused lillian to choke on air earning a shove from maggie who obviously hadn't meant it like that.

"got a pharmacy run. you in?" maggie asked "uh.." glenn said looking to lillian who subtly nodded. "miss, what's the water situation here?" dale asked walking over. "got five wells on our land. house draws directly from number one. number two well is right over there, we use it for the cattle but it's just as pure. take what you need. there's a cart and containers in the generator shed behind the house." maggie said to dale.

"ill go saddle your horse then." maggie said to glenn before walking to the stable. "horse?" glenn asked to no one in particular, lillian laughed causing glenn to roll his eyes jokingly to her. dale walked away leaving glenn and lillian alone once again. "so you like her?" lillian said with raised brows "i think so, i become a stuttering mess and i get all nervous, i don't know." he said before raising the binoculars to his eyes.

"hello, farmers daughter." glenn said in a slow quiet voice, lillian hit her shoulder against his "pig." she whispered in his ear before walking away "i hate you!" glenn yelled towards lillian "aw! i love you more, glenn!" she yelled back sarcastically.
