It was the lifeless body of a civilian.

Nene screamed. "D-Dad?!"

Rui sat in front of the body. His eyes, fixated on Tsukasa, who seemed to be yelling at his own father.

"FATHER. TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE-"

"OH. YOU'RE BLAMING IT ON ME NOW??" The king slapped Tsukasa straight across the face. 

Tsukasa began tearing up. Rui gave him a big hug, and confronted the king himself. "Your noble- wait. You don't deserve respect, do you now ?"

The king's eyes widened in rage. "Excuse me? Are you looking down on me too, Riko? You do know I have the power to execute you."

The crowd gasped. Nobody has been executed in so long, it'll be cruel just to sentence one to execution for such a foolish reason.

Rui frowned. "I know, I know well, sir." He then sighed, "If you really do deserve respect, then prove it."

The king smirked. "That'll be-"

"Explain why you're holding a dagger behind your back."

Nene covered her mouth with both her hands and broke into tears. She ran towards Rui and gave he gave her a big hug, while Tsukasa was still left with his father, shocked by what Rui has found out.

"Too stunned to speak?" Rui looked at the king, and turned off his female tone. "Explain the stab wounds on Mr. Kusanagi's chest. It was your doing, wasn't it?" The king was shaking his legs, palms sweaty. Nene continued crying, Rui hugged her tighter.

"You're right. I killed Mr. Kusanagi." The king dropped the dagger he held behind him. "You were going to be my next victim, Riko, if you hadn't figured out earlier." 

Tsukasa yelled, "Seriously?? And you haven't told me a single damn thing??"

The king dropped to the ground, on his knees. "Please forgive me, son. I only did this to keep our spots, to keep the family going."

"You only did this to keep your place as king." Rui set Nene aside and stood up. "You only did this, so Tsukasa wouldn't get married, and wouldn't be eligible for the role of king. You only wanted to be king until the very day you die. Isn't that a bit selfish?"

"No, not at all Riko, it's something else-"

"Seriously? You expect me to believe you?" Rui chuckled, "I've been doing my fair share of research and it seems like the Kusanagis have been beginning to gain more respect than the king himself. Is that why you had to get rid of Mr. Kusanagi?"

Toya slammed the door open. 

"Sir, would you like me to take this man to the dungeon?" Toya yelled out, panting.

The king smiled, "Yes please, Toya-"

Toya frowned. "I was talking to the prince." 

Tsukasa was shocked. "M-me??"

"Well, you are king next. Or perhaps... sooner than you expected." Toya then kneeled down before Tsukasa and asked again,

"Would you like me to take your father to the dungeon?"

There was a long pause between the two, until Tsukasa replied; 

"Yes, Toya. Please escort this man to the dungeon."

As Toya and some other guards began taking the king by the arms, he yelled out, "I can't believe I ever trusted you, son. Oh I'll get revenge on you all right."

The clouds were grey, and all of a sudden it started raining. Tsukasa looked up into the rain and spoke to Rui, "Do you ever think I'll see my father again?"

Rui smiled, "Yes, someday."

Nene frowned. "Well I won't see mine again."
