this'll kinda be a fun chapter to write, mainly because the wxs gang are gonna go out to town to find some costumes. 😈😈 (credits to @AmiaRae for helping me with the idea!)

Tsukasa's POV, Dialogue.

"How much longer until we reach the store..." Nene complained as she dragged her feet across the ground, lazily. "My legs are aching."
Emu sprinted ahead of Nene. "Don't worry Nene-chan! I could always carry you if you wanna!" Emu exclaimed, gesturing a hug.
"U-uhm... no thank you." Nene muttered.
"Welp! Here we are." I pointed to the local tailor across the road. The sign that hung above the door spelled out 'Halloween costumes, half price!'. It was painted in bright orange and black, and had yellow string lights thrown around the front. It was a nice sight to see, but kind of messy.
Rui covered his eyes from the bright sun with his forearm. "Wow, is this it? Seems a bit too bland."
"BLAND?! This is the best place to get Halloween costumes, according to Tsukasa-kun!" Emu grabbed Rui by the face and turned him to face the storefront window.
Rui stared at the window. "What am I supposed to be seeing...?"
Emu laughed. "Do you see that? Don't ya think that'd look great on-"
"But that's a dress..."
"Nene. I meant, Nene." Emu smiled. "Nene-chan! Look at that dress!"
Nene blushed. "Sure it's pretty... but it isn't spooky enough..."
"Let's look for even spookier ones then!" Emu let go of Rui and ran towards Nene. Grabbing her hand, she pulled Nene towards the entrance of the store.
These days just get better and better...
Me and Rui followed the others.

"Rui-kun! Over here!"
Both me and Rui could hear Emu's faint shouts from across the store. We decided to go over and see what was happening.
As we walked over, we managed to spot all the silly costumes that were displayed on colorful racks. There were inflatable ones, ones made out of pure silk, and really large ones. They all look spectacular.
The second Emu spotted us, she jumped on top of me.
"E-Emu?! Get off of me!" I said as I struggled to push Emu away. She finally gave in and stood up.
"You're so boring, Tsukasa-kun!" She giggled, and turned to look at Rui. She held up some sort of tuxedo. "Would you mind wearing this, Rui-kun?"
Rui flinched a little. "That? You want me to wear... that?"
