Rui's POV,  Dialogue.

"RUI-KUN!! RUI-KUN WAKEEE UUUUPPPP!!!"

I slowly opened my eyes, and awoke to the sound of Emu violently shaking my bed. I quickly covered my eyes with my hands because of the blinding light peering through the curtains.

"Rui-kun?? RUI-KUN??? YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE!!" Emu jumped onto the bed and gave me the biggest, warmest hug.

I laughed at looked at her in confusion. "Woah woah, calm down. What happened? Why am I in the infirmary...?"

Emu sighed and pointed at my right leg.

Ah, well... where my right leg would have been if I still had one.

I jolted as I saw my leg missing. I couldn't seem to recall what happened.

Emu saw me afraid and sighed. "You lost your leg in the fight with the king, remember? He stabbed your leg really hard and it was bleeding so much!" Emu said, enthusiastically.

"You've got to be kidding me..." I couldn't help but to stare at myself and my... lost limb. 

"It's okay, rest assured! Me and Nene-chan can help you walk again!" Emu giggled and patted my back.

I returned the favor by giving Emu a warm smile. "Wait- but what about Tsukasa? And Mizuki?"

Emu went silent.

"Rui... who's Mizuki?" Emu questioned me, with a blank expression on her face.

I shiver went down my spine. "You know, Mizuki? They uhm, they knocked down the door and..."

Emu didn't seem to be following up on anything that I've said.

"Well, doctor Kaito? You must remember Kaito, right?" I grabbed Emu's hands and gave her a desperate look.

She shook her head. "I'm sorry Rui-kun, I have no idea what you're talking about." She then got up and walked towards a nearby glass cabinet.

Opening the cabinet, she pulled out a letter in an envelope.

A... letter? What's the letter for??

"Here Rui-kun. Take it." Emu passed me the letter.

Hearing her voice in a more serious tone gave me the chills.

I stared at her, and she nodded her head; signaling for me to open the letter. 

And that's what I did. 

To my surprise, it was from Tsukasa.

"Read it out! Read it out loud!!" Emu chanted. "I-I mean... it seems like a really important letter so I uh- I think you should read it out for me to hear as well!! I'm not curious or anything I promise!!! I just want to know what's going on..."

I chuckled and opened the rest of the letter. 

I read out,
