Saki's POV.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Stop it Saki, this isn't like you.
Those words kept playing in my head.
As I continued walking, I looked up at all the photos hung on the wall. I can't seem to find any of Tsukasa nowadays, has he grown at all? I mean, yeah, it's only been three months.
These halls felt so familiar. I haven't been here in ages. They didn't remove a single thing... not even the broken chair left in the corner of the right hall, not even the crooked bookshelf, not even the photos of mother-
And then, I heard voices coming from the dining hall.
"Damnit, what's taking Nene so long." A deep-ish voice said.
"Maybe she couldn't find the bathroom." A still deep, lightly softer voice suggested.
"C'mon, Nene isn't that blind." A lighter, squeakier voice replied. "I'll go look for her!"
"Emu... be careful." Said a familiar voice. I can't seem to make out who it might be. It clearly isn't Tsukasa though.
After that, I heard small footsteps quickly approaching.
Oh shoot, I have no time to move. She's too fast! Do I stay hidden? Or should I reveal myself...
The girl placed her hand on the door handle and started to twist, and I fell to the ground and began my way, slowly crawling backwards. And then, the door burst open!
"Eeeek!" The squeaky girl screamed at the sight of me. "Wait... Tsukasa-Kun... this girl looks like you."
Tsukasa-Kun? Does that mean that he's in the dining hall??
"Girl? What girl? It isn't Nene?" The deeper voice again questioned.
I heard more footsteps approaching, and I closed my left eye in hopes of seeing Tsukasa... but no. It was a completely different guy with orange hair, and yellow strips.
"Wait... it can't be..." The guy widened his gaze and then turned back around. "Tsukasa, you've got to see this."
And then more footsteps. Every sound seems to echo in these stupid halls.
"Yeah? What is it-"
It was Tsukasa.
He looked a bit... taller than the last time I saw him. Or, maybe it could just be because of the angle I'm looking at.
When he caught his eyes on me, he dropped his cup and covered his mouth. Similar to the reaction Nene gave me earlier. There was a taller, purple-haired man with real streaks standing next to him, astonished.
"Saki?" Tsukasa dashed on front of the everybody else to accompany me on the ground. "Is that really you?"
I nodded my head.
"I don't think I trust you. Tell me, what secret did I tell you on Christmas Eve six years ago?" He had a more comfortable, sparkling expression on his face.
I giggled, "You told me that you had a mole on your butt."
Everybody looked quite surprised after hearing that, except for the purple-haired man.
"Hey, don't say it out loud!" He yelled.
We both started laughing our heads off. I grabbed onto Tsukasa's chest and we both continued laughing.
"Saki... I can't believe it's actually you." Tsukasa smiled at me. I haven't seen his smile in such a long time, and seeing it again makes me feel happy. Really happy.
"I missed you so much Onii-chan!" I hugged him tight. He seemed to be gasping for air the next minute so I painfully let him go.
"Hehe, how are you, Saki?" A voice in the crowd stepped forward.
"Toya!" I stood up and gave him a big hug too. He hugged me back. The orange-haired guy looked quite disturbed.
"Wait a second. Is this Tsukasa-kun's sister??" The squeaky girl questioned. She had light pink hair, and glittery pink eyes. She wasn't wearing a fancy skirt either.
"Yes, she is." Nene appeared from behind all of us.
"What took you so long, Nene?" The purple-haired man asked.
"I met Saki in the bathroom. She ran out crying so I took that opportunity to finally relieve myself." Nene sighed.
"Y-You don't have to say it so coldly!" I pouted.
Tsukasa grabbed my hand, "I'll introduce you to the people here."
I nodded my head in agreement.
Tsukasa pointed to the orange-haired guy. "This is Akito. He's a prince, even though he might not look like one."
"Hey-! You know it's rude to point fingers." Akito exclaimed, clearly offended."
I giggled.
Tsukasa pointed to the pink-haired girl. "This is my good friend, Emu. Her father runs a candy store."
"Hey there Saki-chan!" Emu screamed in joy. I waved back.
Tsukasa pointed to the purple-haired man. "This is Rui. He's my... uh..."
Oh right! I remember Nene saying something about Tsukasa liking a guy named Rui.
"He's your boyfriend?" I asked Tsukasa.
"Well... I don't really know." Tsukasa replied. He looked dazed.
"Yes, Saki, he is my boyfriend." Rui looked down at the both of us, and gave us a cheeky smile.
Tsukasa blushed a little, which I thought was kind of cute. So he has found love, huh. I never thought it would be with a guy, but I'll let him be happy with whoever he wants to be with.
Speaking of happy... I haven't seen Ichika and the others in quite a while...
