And on the sports news, Philippine women volleyball team advanced to the finals of the 2022 Asian Games after defeating Vietnam in a four-set win. Philippines got the first and second set at 25-23 and 25-20, respectively, while Vietnam stole the third set at 25-23. Sending everyone home is a backrow attack from Philippines which finished fourth set at 25-19. They are set to go against Thailand in the finals.

"We are playing one game at a time, and we are just really happy that we are given this opportunity again. We are looking forward to the match with Thailand. Very tough team to beat. So much respect for them." said the open spiker, Alyssa Valdez who led the Philippine team with her double double performance, 21 points, 17 attacks, 3 blocks, 1 ace, and 14 excellent digs.

Alyssa's POV

"My team is looking forward to the match with Thailand," ulit ni Ella sa sinabi ko sa interview with her mocking tone. Tapos inakbayan pa nya ako kala mo naman katangkaran.

Tapos tinuloy nya yung pagsasalita, "While I am looking forward to my bebe time... aray!" Ayun, natapik ko tuloy sya noo.

"O bakit? Hindi ba?" Tanong nya sakin habang hinihimas yung noo nya.

"Focus tayo sa game. Ano ka ba?!" Sabi ko, trying my best to appear serious.

"Weh? Pwede naman both. Diba ang sabi nga ni Sam, why choose one when you can have both, sa career and love." Sabi ni Ella kaya napakunot noo ko. May namiss ba akong interview nya?

"Ha? Kailan nya sinabi yan?" Tanong ko.

"Nung interview nya. Years ago." Kibit balikat nya.

I rolled my eyes. "Tagal na pala e, bakit mo ba pinapanood yun? Baka iba pang love yung tinutukoy nya dyan."

"Ay sus! Selos naman agad to. Antagal na naman nun." Said Ella.

"Hindi ah." Maktol ko.

"Sumbong kita kay Sam, di mo kaya pagsabayin ang career at love." Biglang sabi ba naman ni Ella, tinapik ko tuloy ulit sa noo nya.

"Aray!" Reklamo nya.

"Nagjojoke lang ako. Syempre, pagsasabayin natin yan." Sabi ko tapos di na mapigilan yung ngiti ko. I giggled. "She'll be here naa.."

"Ayan, ayan, ayan! Minsan nakakainis yung ngiti mo pag masyado kang masaya." Sabi ni Ella.

"Inggit ka lang!.. Ay besh." I said.

"Anong besh bigla?! May kailangan ka?" Ella said.

"Diba kasi after ng finals, magpapaiwan pa ako ng ilang days dito. Tulungan mo naman ako sa itinerary, please, please? Di pa kasi ako nakapagtour talaga dito. Diba ikaw nagawa mo na?"

"Jusko naman. Syempre tutulungan kita at hindi mo rin naman ako titigilan."

"Yesss! Labyu besh." Lambing ko naman.

"Ay putek na yan. Nag-lalabyu na. Dati naman, hindi ka ganyan!"

Ngumisi lang ako sa kanya. Di na ako sumagot. Baka bawiin e.

"Pero alam mo, I'm happy for you." Narinig ko sabi ni Ella, ilang sandali pa.

Napatingin ulit ako sa kanya and I smiled at her. "I know. Me too." I simply said.
