December 15th, 1988 //7:30 pm//

It was a chilly day in new jersey and y/n was packing her things to return home to her hometown Denver colorado y/n moved away when she got accepted into Princeton university though Finney and Y/n wanted to go to the same college he wanted her to follow her dreams so she left while keeping in contact but they had too many things keeping them away from each other and decided to end their 7-year relationship. And Today she finished school and planned on coming back home because she wanted to spend as much time with them as she could.

You might be wondering 'Why are you driving to Denver y/n? Well I'm scared of planes

I was driving along the snowy roads of well the middle of nowhere I decided to call Gwen and tell her I was coming back home

"Hey Siri call wifey," I say into my phone and put it on my head bored after 2 rings she answered the facetime call
"Hey gwenn" I say still focusing on the road "OH MY GOD Y/N! How are youu" she says excitedly "I'm good coming back home for a while" I say "IFBDJD NO WAY" she shouts for a 21 year old she sure does act like a child.

It's been hours of driving and talking to gwen but my phone was getting low so I told her I had to go and after our goodbyes I was alone with the radio on

December 16 //7:50 am//

I was finally back in Denver and i was making my way to my parents house and then to finney and gwens shared house i thought it was a little weird that they live together but trauma is most likely the reason so its not my place 

(timeskip to gwen&finns house cuz i can) 

 Im in front of the house contemplating if i should be there sighing I get out of my car and walked to the door knocking nervously after not hearing a response i was going to leave but as i opened my car door i heard the door open "y/n? what are you doing here" finney says closing the door behind him as he walks out "oh well im back home and i wanted to hang out with you guys!" i say smiling let me tell you he looked good for 23 his face saddened "oh well me and the guys cant hang out tonight" he said biting  his lip "oh o-ok that's alright ill just head back home then tell the guys i said hi" i say my head hung low and i got in my car and drove home i didn't want to face him again.
