"Which way did he say that it was again...?" Kayla muttered to herself. She looked down one street and then the other. Finally, she admitted it- she was lost.

"Are you alright?" A voice asked from being her.

She turned around to see a boy probably three or so years older than her watching her closely. He had white hair with purple streaks on the side, which she found interesting.

"I just got a little lost." She admitted.

"Where are you going?"  The boy took a few steps toward her and then stopped.

"The grocery store. My brother said that it was around here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it." She smiled nervously.

"I see." The boy pointed down the left street. "Go down there and take a right. You'll see it."

"Okay, thanks." She waved and ran off in the direction he had pointed her in.

Why does she remind me so much of someone? He wondered, watching her. Too late to find out now.

"Next time I should use my GPS." Kayla said to herself, shifting the bags of groceries in her hands. She didn't know why she talked to herself so much. It was a habit she had picked up after Yusaku vanished all those years ago. Her parents had said that it was because she was lonely, but she wasn't so sure. There was something else that she just couldn't lay her finger on.

As she walked she heard saw the same boy from earlier arguing with a man.

"Are you certain?" The man asked. "I still think that we should wait until we have more information on her before we make our move."

"There are three reasons why we need to hurry up our search." The boy held up his hand. "One: It's been days and she still hasn't shown up in Link Vrains. Two: Her coding skills are so advanced that even we're having a hard time finding anything on her. She is also hiding all her duels so we have no idea what kind of deck she uses or her strategies. And three: If she is the one causing all the trouble in Link Vrains, we need to find her so that we can stop her as soon as possible."

The man sighed. "Per usual Master Roken, you're right. But still, I wish that we knew more about her."

Kayla peeked into an alley. The man had his back to her while the boy who had been called 'Roken' was facing him, arms crossed and hadn't noticed her yet.

Trouble in Link Vrains? She wondered. What kind of trouble? More Ignis? But why do I get the feeling that it's something else entirely?
