"Well, what a pleasant surprise," A voice greeted them as they entered what turned out not to be the exit of the maze, but the middle. At least, that was what Glacier assumed that it was. "Glacier and her new friends. Welcome. If you were coming back to rejoin us, I would have planed a celebration, but since I assume that you're here because of Varis, I didn't."

Everyone looked up to see a man floating in the air in front of the castle before them, observing them with the same expression Glacier had not that long ago.

"You guessed right." Glacier stepped away from Snow to the front of the group. "Give up the anti-virus or I'll duel it out of you."

"Pity." The man clicked his tongue. "You were such a useful duelist, too. Oh well. The past is the past." He snapped his fingers and a new person appeared, this one clad in all black with his face hidden. He had always reminded her of a ninja, something she had never hesitated to point out, since she knew how much he hated it.

"Ice Queen." The person glared down at her.

"Ninja Boy." She glared back.

"I thought that I told you not to address me by that ridiculous name!" He snapped. "You are supposed to call me by my username, Smokescreen."

"Yeah, well, Ninja Boy suits you better. If you wanted to be called Smokescreen, maybe yo should've chosen something more gray than black." She gestured to his cloths.

"Glacier does have a point," Blue Maiden agreed.

No one except for Playmaker had noticed the man's earlier comment. If you were coming back to rejoin us, and You were such a useful duelist, too. What had he meant by that? Had Glacier really worked with these people in the past. That would explain how she knew them and possibly even her dueling skills, if they had trained her.

"I'm not here to talk." Glacier raised her arm, turning on her duel disk. "Stop waisting my time."

"Fine then, if you refuse to have a civil conversation." The man waved his hand. "Smokescreen, take her."

"I'm not dueling unless you offer up the anti-virus if I win."

"And if you lose?"

"You get the data that I've been collecting. I know that you want it." Her eyes narrowed. "Not that I'll give it to you, since I plan on winning."

The man smirked. "Alright then. Let the duel begin."

Smokescreen levitated to the ground and raised his arm.

"LET'S DUEL!" They shouted before anyone else could get a word in edgewise.

(Brief Author's Note: I'm absolutely terrible at writing duels, so I'll just tell you this. Smokescreen makes Glacier admit to everyone that they used to train together back when she first started working with their organization. He claims to know every single one of her cards and moves. Until Glacier reveals that she is using a Raidraptor deck now instead of her old one, which Playmaker decides is why she didn't want anyone to see her duels. She wanted to hide her deck from these people. Even so, she still has a hard time winning as Smokescreen has never lost a battle to her before and has even upgraded his deck. Eventually, through a last-minute Xyz Summon, she pulls out a win. (By the way, if anyone wants to write a duel for me and sends it to me through my messages, I'll happily conducer putting it in here and add who wrote it.))

"That was awesome!" Snow cried in amazement as Glacier lowered her arm, exhausted from the duel.

"I thought that you saw her duel all the time." Blue Maiden said.

"Actually, I haven't watched any of her duels lately. I've been too busy trying to make sure that some people don't find out who her real world identity is." She shot Playmaker a meaningful look, which he either ignored or didn't see. "The person who helps him is actually trying to hack her account right now. I should've been working on keeping it safe while she dueled, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to watch." She smiled shyly.

"I don't blame you." Blue Maiden offered her a smile in return.

"Good job Glacier," Playmaker called over to the duelist.

"Thanks." Glacier wiped sweat off her forehead. She hadn't even known that it was possible to sweat in virtual reality. She turned to the man who had been watching their duel. "Your turn to keep your side of our bargain. The anti-virus. Now." She held up her duel disk. Snow activated her screen and began typing.

The man grumbled something angrily under his breath. "Fine then. The offer to return still stands, Glacier. You don't need these people." He cast a withering look at the others before vanishing, Smokescreen along with him. In his place he left a box that slowly floated down to Glacier.

Before she could grab it, Snow leapt forward and grabbed it.

"Hey! Snow!" Glacier complained. "What was that for?"

"I'm checking to make sure that it doesn't have any viruses attached."

Glacier deflated. "Oh. I guess that makes sense."

A few seconds later Snow handed it over. "It's safe."

"Alright. Thanks." She grabbed it and tossed it over to Playmaker. "Here. Give our regards to Varis when he's feeling better.

"You're leaving?" Playmaker asked in surprise. "How? I checked earlier and there's no way to log out."

Glacier winked. "I have my ways. Anyway, see you all around." She grabbed Snow's hand and they slowly began to disintegrate into blue data.

"Hey, Glacier!" Soulburner called after them. "Next time, I'm your opponent!"

"You got it," She called back, her voice fading out at the end.

Playmaker accessed his emergency log out program. "Let's get this to Varis."
