"Let's split up into teams," Blue Maiden suggested. "That way we can find Glacier quicker."

"No need," A voice said from above them. "I'm already here."

The looked up to the roof of a building to see a girl watching them with a half curious half bored expression. She had long white hair with icy blue highlights and bangs that was pulled into a ponytail, pale skin, and blue eyes that almost seemed to glow. She was wearing a white short-sleeved turtleneck shirt and light blue leggings, along with black combat boots.

"You must be Glacier." Playmaker frowned at her. She wasn't like he had imagined. He had pictured her a bit...older. And more dangerous. Instead, she looked like a perfectly normal teenager, probably around their age.

Glacier jumped down from the top of the building. "I am. I assume that you're here to talk about Varis."

"We are. You need to give us the anti-virus so that we can heal him."

Glacier sighed, putting her hands on her hips. "I don't have it."

"We'll see about that after our duel." Soulburner peeped his duel disk.

"I'm not joking. I don't have it because I'm not the one who hurt him with it. Someone barged in half way through our duel. I have information that some people would kill for and they wanted it. Varis and I decided to change to a Speed Duel and defeat him together before we continued. Unfortunately, he worked with a group of people who don't play fair and don't like to lose, so they somehow hacked the Data Storm and knocked Varis off. I tired to save him but...I wasn't fast enough." Her lips pinched together.

She was either a really good actor, or she was telling the truth, Playmaker decided.

"If you really didn't hurt him, then why don't you help us save him," He said.

"What are you doing?" Blue Maiden hissed. "How do you know that we can trust her?"

"Yeah, I agree." Soulburner nodded.

"If she does feel sorry and want to save Varis, she will." Playmaker's eyes flicked over to Glacier, who was watching them calmly. "If she doesn't, then we'll know she's our enemy. Besides, until then Kolter can focus on finding where she's logged in from."

"Fair point." Blue Maiden sighed. She looked over to Glacier and called "If you betray us, I will personally defeat you in a duel so badly that you'll never dare to set foot in Link VRAINS again, do you hear me?"

"I do." Glacier didn't faze at her threats. Instead, a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "If you all want to follow me, we can get started. I know where their base is."

Soulburner's jaw dropped. "Seriously? Why didn't you say that earlier?"

"Because you all were very intent on crushing me in a duel and didn't trust me," She pointed out.

"We still don't trust you," Playmaker said. "We're just giving you a chance to prove what you said. If you didn't delete all of your duels then maybe we wouldn't be in this position-"

"Ha!" Glacier smirked. "Nice try, but I'm not going to stop. I prefer my enemies to know as little about me as possible, unlike some people. Now come on. We should get started. The sooner we get there, the less time they have to prepare. They've mostly likely found out that I'm helping you all by now, and they know that I know they know I know where their base is, so things could get messy." She paused and looked at the door into the building she had been on. "One sec."

She held up her duel disk and it scanned the door, which glitched before quickly going back to normal. A small screen appeared above her duel disk with 70% Of The  Download Complete.

"What's that for?" Blue Maiden asked.

"Just a pet project that I'm working on." She let her arms drop to her side.

Everyone in the group knew that it was a little bigger than just a pet project, but didn't comment. This wasn't the time to get on her bad side, especially since she was about to help them.
