"So you're Glacier." Roken leaned back in his chair and folded his arms. "That explains quite a lot. How you always showed up whenever we needed you. Why we never saw you when Glacier was around. It might also be because of the fact that you knew my real world identity that you felt safe to join the Knights of Hanoi."

"That was part of the reason," She agreed. "The other part was that Snow and I couldn't do everything on our own."

"That's actually pretty cool." Sky grinned. "I guess dueling runs in the family, huh?"

"You left your duel disk on last night after exiting Link VRAINS," Yusaku said. "I considered the fact that you might be Glacier, but I thought that you weren't because you had never been interested in dueling with duel disks of in Link VRAINS before, even when we were kids."

"I kinda just started doing it to make friends with people at the school I was going to at the time," Kayla explained. "I was the only one who didn't duel in Link VRAINS, so it was hard to hold a conversation with anyone there."

"That makes sense."

"Okay, I've got to know." Kolter leaned forward. "Is it true that a twelve-year-old is kicking Yusaku and I's butts whenever we try to hack into your account?"

Kayla couldn't help smiling. "Yes."

"Aw, man! I had hoped she just made her avatar look younger than she really was." Kolter threw his hands into the air. "I've gotta meet this kid."

Kayla's phone beeped in her pocket and she pulled it out. There was a text from Yui. It read:

Want to hang out? I know a really good hotdog truck that's usually at the square about this time.

She smiled. "That wish might come true sooner rather than later."
