Luke's POV
I shut myself off.
With The Vaccines' music playing in my phone for the last few hours I mindlessly scrolled though the various apps in my phone. From CNN, to a Martha Stewart recipes' app, I kept myself distracted, ignoring the various glances from my friends...and the fact I have an app on my phone related to Martha Stewart.
"Tell him to turn the music down a bit, my head is spinning because of this weed and Luke's shitty music isn't helping."
"He can't hear us though."
I huffed in annoyance, taking off my earphones. "I can hear you, indeed. Shut the fuck up."
"....what an asshole." Calum muttered, his hands playing with a small baseball ball as he lay in one of the unmade beds.
I felt Michael's presence next to mine as he sat down, our backs pressed against the wall.
"What's been bothering you?" He said.
I debated the idea of telling Michael. Knowing him, the moment I opened my mouth he would be telling Nina everything I had previously said to him, and I'm not entirely fond on that girl yet to the point where I could trust her with my shit. Still, Michael is a good friend, and a good listener so I had to give it a shot.
"Alex and I had a fight after we had dinner with her family." I said, my eyes still glued to my phone.
"Woah, that's shitty." He chuckled. "What happened?"
I promised myself I wouldn't dwell too much on the topic, but here I was venting to my best friend about my girlfriend and her toasted family.
"Holy shit! Her grandmother roasted you in front of her family? That's bat shit crazy, dude." He said in hysterics, but then a solemn expression took place on his features.
"It hurt hearing her bring back my past...you know, with the girls, and the constant hook-ups and shit. I don't want her to think I want to take advantage of her or something along those lines." I sighed, my hands finding their way to my nose, which I bopped in exasperation.
"Stop doing that, your nose is red as shit." Michael took my hand away from my nose and placed it back on my knee.
"Remember when I would do that like, everyday?" I chuckled, bringing back the memories where I would sit in Michael's room while I drank from some shitty alcohol Ashton had bought and then cried and touched my nose until it was red and it hurt. It was one of those weird habits people have when they're uncomfortable, but mine made me look like a lunatic.
"You have stopped doing it." Michael smiled.
"You know why."

The boys and I decided to have dinner at an Italian food place that was really close to the hotel. I was too immersed in my pasta and my thoughts that I had totally zoned out of the conversation.
"You alright?" Ashton asked, his hand touching my shoulder lightly, and his eyes fixated on mine for less than a second before they traveled down to his lap again. He has been acting so weird lately, he must be homesick or something.
I nodded. I wasn't entirely alright, but I didn't want to admit that.
"So" Calum started with a light smirk on his face, and we all knew he was about to start telling us about one of his recent hookups. "I met this girl at the bar of the hotel the other night. She was drunk and trying to find her friend and I tried to help her out, I really did! That was until she locked us in the bathroom, and the next was history." He chuckled, and I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
