Frisk was curled up on the armchair tiredly. There was nothing to do on the blistering hot day.

The social worker man had come the day before and stressed everyone out. Frisk didn't know why. He just walked around writing on a clipboard, and Wirt gave him a stack of papers that Mabel explained was their "proof of existence."

Frisk didn't understand that either. Why do you need to prove you exist when you are so obviously alive?

Everyone was tense, so they decided to not bring it up.

Now there was nothing for Frisk to do, and everyone else was doing something.

Morty was cleaning out a room he found in the basement, and Bipper was helping him. Mabel and Finn were watching "Say Yes to the Dress", whatever that was, and Wirt was in his room claiming to have a headache, but Frisk suspected he just wanted to be alone.

Suddenly, Bipper strolled in carrying a bunch of aerosol cans in his arms. Following him, Morty came, lugging a rolled-up carpet.

Bipper set the cans on the table but kept two in his hands. They turned out to actually be air horns. He pressed the button on the top.

"Buuuurrrrrrrmmmmmmmmm!!"

Frisk covered their ears at the obnoxiously loud noise.

Bipper gave a childlike grin. "We found air horns in the basement!"

"And a carpet," Morty said, still struggling with it. "Help me, goddammit!"

Bipper went and helped with the carpet while Wirt walked in through the other door, closely followed by Finn and Mabel.

"What the heck?" Mabel asked. "We were relaxing!"

"We have an amazing discovery!" Bipper announced as he and Morty rolled the carpet out.

"A shag carpet," Wirt said.

A look of realization spread across Mabel's face. "No," she said. "No, no, no. Not that thing. Bipper, why?"

Bipper grinned at his twin. "I thought it would be fun!"

"No," Mabel said again sternly. "You know what happened last time. I know you do."

"What happened last time? It is a carpet," Frisk asked, hopping off the recliner and stepping on the fluffy matting.

"It's a crazy carpet," Mabel said, shaking her head.

Frisk grinned and looked at their socked feet. They started to shuffle them on the carpet. They reached out to Mabel, who flinched away at the last moment, causing Frisk to tumble into Morty and shock him.

Chaos broke out as Morty retaliated and the whole group ended up in a battle of getting back at the last person who shocked them and the like.

"Stop!" Mabel eventually yelled. "Stop!"

The group slowly settled down, exchanging a few more taps before they did.

"Something is wrong," Mabel said with an angry look on her face.

Frisk agreed. Everything was too low to the ground and their body crackled with electricity. Their clothes were tighter on their body and their hair was floofier.

Not to mention the fact that Frisk locked eyes with a perfect mirror image of themself.

Something was definitely wrong.

"I told you guys the carpet was bad news!" said the doppelganger Frisk. "And now we switched bodies."

"We switched bodies? How?" Mabel asked. She looked at herself. "No!" she screeched. "Not her, anyone but her."
