"Hey (y/n)?" Walter yelled from the front door. Maggie and I both instinctively turned our heads towards him, watching him slowly stride into the living room. He was clutching two magazines- which always came every Monday. However, he took something off the top of them. A white envelope. I raised my eyebrows before taking it off him.
It had my name and this address neatly written in black ink. I noticed a few flower drawings around it... weird. I didn't recognise the handwriting.
"What is it?" Maggie asked. I shrugged before tearing the envelope open. I reached my hand inside and pulled three pieces of paper out. The first, was a picture. A picture of my second oldest brother with his arm around a woman. Adrian... I squinted my eyes, at the bottom of a picture was a date. A date three days from now.
I picked up another piece of paper, another picture. This time, it was my whole family. My mouth hung open for a few seconds as I looked at them. They've all changed. Adrian and the girl were stood in the middle, his arm was around her waist, and she was holding a beer. They were grinning ear to ear. To the left of them was my mum and dad, my dad had his hand on my mum's shoulder. She was... actually smiling. Little Bert was stood at her feet, he was taller now, but he was still clutching that teddy I got him when he was little. The two girls, Shirley and Lacey were stood to the right. They were holding hands, big movie star smiles spread across their faces. My two younger brothers, Cooper and Daz, were stood with the girls with their arms folded across their chest. My oldest brother was no where to be seen...
"Who is it?" Maggie asked, peering at the picture.
"Huh?" I jumped. I hadn't realised how silent I'd been... or the tears that welled up in my eyes. Maggie gave me a worried look. "Oh uh... its my family." I said, sniffling and wiping a tear away. I handed her the picture and she brought it close to her face. Walter protested and tried to look as well, but Maggie shoved him away.
I picked up the final piece of paper.

P.s, (y/n) I really want need you to come.
Most of it was written in fancy handwriting, however the last line was scribbled in pencil... It was Adrian's handwriting. I would recognise it anywhere.
"My brothers getting married..." I mumbled. "My brothers getting fucking married!" I laughed. Maggie and Walter shared a confused look before he gave me a thumbs up. Maggie slapped his hand and he backed away from the couch.
"Is this... good?" Maggie asked.
"Its... something." I said before skimming the invite one more time before handing it to Maggie. She hummed as she read it.
"Only been together two years? Bet he knocked he up."
"Mags don't be weird." I warned. She handed me the invite without even mentioning the 'plus one recommended.'
"Damn seems like you'll have a good time." She said as I placed all three pieces of paper onto the coffee table.
I hesitated for a moment before saying, "Wanna be my plus one?" Her mouth fell open and she looked away from me, a red tint appearing on her cheeks.
"Duh." She said, "Who else would you bloody ask?"
"Walt." I said, pointing at him. He was stood just behind the couch, a grin spread across his face.
