Dean's idea was to drop in on Kevin in the houseboat to get more demon bombs. Pages of symbols were stuck to the wall and other surfaces and Kevin was sitting at a table with the half tablet and a notebook.
"Slow read?" he asked Kevin in greeting when we arrived.
"Slowest," Kevin replied.
He looked terrible, like he wasn't getting enough sleep.
"Where's Garth?" I inquired.
"Supply run?" the Prophet shrugged. "I don't know. Sort of lost track of when he comes and goes. You guys need help with something? I'm working here."
"You look horrible," Cass informed him.
"Yeah. Thanks."
"He's right," I chimed in. "Are you okay, Kevin?"
"Fine. I'm just... in the middle of this."
He pulled the notebook towards him like he was going to go back to translating.
"And?" Dean quirked an eyebrow. "Any luck?"
"Interpreting half a demon tablet? No. I got nothing."
"Alright, well, buck up, 'cause, uh, we need some more of that demon TNT ASAP."
"You used it all?"
"Yeah, so let's whip up another batch."
Kevin glared at Dean, leaning back in his chair.
"Sure. West bank witch hazel, skull of an Egyptian calf, the tail of some random-ass newt that may or may not be extinct-"
"Alright, alright, I get it- ingredients are hard to come by, huh?"
"That's just the first three ingredients."
"Give me the list," Cass addressed Kevin. "I'll get what we need."
"Huh," I smirked.
Sometimes it really payed off to have an angel around. Kevin picked up his pen, starting to scribble down the list of ingredients we would need.

Kevin had put on noise cancelling headphones to work on translating the tablet while Dean and I waited with him for Cass to get back with the stuff. I was sitting in a chair, inspecting my nails while Dean paced and clapped his hands.
"I mean, come on. How long does it take to get a calf skull from Egypt?" he whined.
Kevin didn't respond due to his headphones, and I didn't even bother glancing up from my nails.
"Kevin. Kevin."
I looked up as Dean snapped his fingers next to Kevin's ear with no reaction, then he leaned in close.
"Dean," I snapped as he opened his mouth to say something.
He looked over at me and I gave him a pointed look. Before he could argue with me, however, his phone rang. After glancing at it, he put it on speaker.
"Hey, I thought I told you to go underground."
"Hey," Benny replied on the other end. "I am so far underground, I'm breathing through a straw, brother. Uh, look... what happened to your friend Martin back there, it wasn't supposed to go down that way."
"I know," Dean said. "Your granddaughter told Ellie."
"Dean, you and Eleanor did this old dog a real solid, and, uh... the way you stood up for me-"
"Well, shoe on the other foot, you would have done the same."
"Yeah. I hate to ask for much else, but I don't suppose you're anywhere near the Catskills?"
