As soon as we entered the Bunker, an arrow came flying in our general direction, getting stuck in the handrail a few feet in front of us.

"The hell?" Dean asked.

Kevin popped up from behind a barricade of books and a flipped-over table, holding a crossbow.

"Dean? Ellie? You're alive!"

"Yeah, 'cause you're a crappy shot, Katniss," Dean quipped, pulling the arrow from the handrail.

"Sorry. It's been a bad couple of days," Kevin apologized. "I-I haven't slept... or eaten, I... I'm pretty backed up."

"Okay, overshare," Dean muttered.

"Kev, where are the kids?" I asked.

"I told them to hide in their room."

I pushed past Dean, hurrying down the stairs and through the hall until I got to Maddie and Zep's bedroom door.

"Maddie?" I called. "Zeppelin?"

I pushed open their door to peak in.

"Madelaine? Zeppelin? You in here? Mommy's home."

"Mommy!"

Zeppelin popped up from the side of the bed and ran over into my waiting arms.

"Hey, little big man," I smiled, hugging him.

The familiar red hair of his older sister popped up next, also making her way over to me.

"Hi, mama," Maddie grinned.

"Hey, darling," I pulled her in, planting a kiss on her head. "Did you help Uncle Kevin take care of your brother?"

"Mm-hm. He told us to hide when the scary alarms started."

"Scary alarms?"

"It was wow-d," Zep informed me.

"Mama, what happened?" Maddie asked.

"It's a long story," I replied. "But there's something I need to tell you."

Maddie and Zep looked up at me expectantly, and I swallowed. I didn't want to involve them, but I knew at least Maddie would be able to see Sam's broken wings and we really didn't need one of them revealing our secret.

"Uncle Sammy got really hurt," I started. "And in order to help him, an angel named Ezekiel possessed him. It's still Sam, but you can't say anything to him about Ezekiel, okay? It's a secret."

"Why?" Zep asked curiously.

"So that Ezekiel can heal Uncle Sammy. You have to promise not to say anything."

"Pwomise, Mommy," Zep said seriously.

"I promise," Maddie echoed her brother.

"What's Crowley doing here?! Why isn't he dead?! Why aren't you stabbing him right now?!"

"Alright, alright, chill out, Kevin, okay?" Dean tried assuring the Prophet. "We need him."

"What?!"

"Kevin, look," Sam jumped in. "If we can get Crowley to give us the name of every demon he's got topside, we can hunt them down. All of 'em."

"He will break, okay? When he does, we'll hold him down while you knife him. Then we can all go out for ice cream and strippers."

I glared over at Dean, who just shrugged back at me. Rolling my eyes, I turned back to pour some more soup into Maddie's bowl.
