North Western Railway, Ffarquhar tramway.
It had been a unnerving day for the railway. Thomas was still missing along with his crew. The engines were told to keep an eye out and to report anything that might help them find their missing number 1. Toby was going back up to Ffarquhar quarry to deliver some empty trucks from the old harbor. He felt miserable. Thomas was nowhere to be found, other engines and vehicles tried to cheer him up but to no avail. Toby chuffed down the line, too lost in thought to pay attention to anything else.
"Oh I do wish there was some way for me to find him. Him being gone for this long without anyone knowing where he went is starting to take a tole on me." he said. Toby closed his eyes, breathed out and took a minute to try to get his thoughts together about Thomas. None of what happened to Thomas made any sense, he was beginning to think this friend was in some serious trouble, perhaps Percy was right.
Suddenly Toby's brakes slammed on, his eyes shot open to see what was the matter. He was sliding down towards water, like they were at a quayside. Toby realized the parlous situation they were in and braked as hard as he could. The screeching was awful, but they managed to stop just inches before his cow catcher touched the water. Toby breathed a sign of relief. He then looked around the area.
This new place looked...odd? The buildings were built high off the ground, the seaweed indicates that the tide rises often and thankfully they came during low tide. The buildings looked like what you would find in a street neighborhood, some of which had businesses on the ground level. It all looked foreign to Toby and didn't know where he was.
"You ok Toby?" asked his driver
"Yes I'm alright, can we reverse to higher ground?" Toby asked. The crew tried their best, but he only inched backwards for just a little bit.
"Oh bother." Toby said. His crew discussed on ways to get Toby up to higher ground. That's when they noticed someone walking towards them. Her body was covered in scars, even on around her neck. She wore a collar with a bell, what was a very small tank top and what looked like shredded pants. The most noticeable thing about her was her cat like appearance with her tail and cat ears.
