"It's the Skullgirl!" Florence shrieked.

"You need to get Aileen home." Annie said.

"It would be no good. Panic and undead would flood the streets." Florence said. This made Thomas panic more.

"Crud. Ok you two come with me. Thomas try to find a way back to the yard." Annie ordered. Before Thomas or his crew could interject they had already ran off.

"Let's hurry Thomas, before the dearly departed show up." his driver said. In no time Thomas was puffing off. The city was in a state of panic, Thomas tried taking the quickest route to the yard, but the path was blocked. Skeletons and zombies roamed in front of the line, once they saw Thomas they ran towards him.

"YIKES!" Thomas quickly slammed on his brakes and his crew leapt to the reverser and put it hard over. Thomas backed out of there, but one of the zombies grab a hold on one of his buffers. Thomas went faster and faster in reverse, the zombie swayed around until he lost his grip. Unfortunately it was his arm that detached from his body and it remained on Thomas' buffer.  Thomas was so frightened he ran all the way back to Little Innsmouth. It was quiet there, there was not a sound as most of the residents had been evacuated. The once friendly, busy area was now a ghost town. His crew decided it would be best for him to rest for a few minutes and to try to get the arm off of him. His fireman got a shovel and gently scraped it off.

"Yuck! This smells awful." Thomas complained.

"It's a rotting corpse, don't expect it to smell like fresh cooked hot cakes Thomas." his fireman said, he wasn't to fond of it either. His driver kept a look out for anymore ghouls. Just then the ground shook once again, and they heard the Skullgirl's voice.

"I... WILL... DESTROY YOU!!!" She yelled. Just then part of the Medici tower flew over head of them. She had thrown it to try to hit their escape blimp. His driver knew the tower was going to go in the sea close to Innsmouth's quay. He quickly put Thomas in motion, trying to get away. His fireman jumped in and they sped away. Thomas heard the building crash into the water, and soon water splashed up over the rails of Little Innsmouth. He was thankful he was out of the way, but more was yet to come. Another horde of the undead was in front of Thomas. This time they were suits, hats and carried tommy guns. Thomas and his crew grew pale as they aimed it at them.

"Rattle them boys!" one yelled, they cocked their guns and Thomas prepared for the worst.

"HAIRBALL!"  The skeletons burst into pieces and the zombies smashed into the pavement. Thomas was surprised to see Filia and Samson. They had single handedly took down a small horde of the undead.

"Filia! Samson!" Thomas exclaimed. "What are you two doing here, you should get out."

"We tried, but the waves of people evacuating prevented us. Besides people would've freaked out if they saw Samson." Filia explained.

"Why?" Thomas asked.

"Living hair would freak anyone out puffball." Samson retorted. Thomas frowned, sighed and smiled again.

"I could take you. We're heading to the engine shed, it should be safe there."

"Anywhere is better than this crap show." Samson said.

"He means yes, and sorry for his rudeness." Filia said. She hopped on Thomas' running board and they started off again. The wrath of the Skullgirl was still in effect, her rage took over and the heart's destructive nature started to affect her. She shot out balls of blue fire in all directions, hitting roads, buildings and everything in between. Thomas raced down the tramway. Thomas, Filia and Samson looked above them to see these fireballs shoot overhead like stars in the night sky. Making them extremely nervous.
