As Harry woke up the next morning; he stretched his body and smiled to the somewhat sore feeling, yet he purred in remembrance to the night's events. Their bond was whole; fully consummated and intact. He and Tom were now as one...forever entwined together in the flow of Life and her games. He purred to the feeling of Tom's intense and protective magic cocooning them even as they had slept; shielding them both and warning away any and all who might have dared to try and harm them in sleep.

Harry's eyes then softened as he moved to turn and gaze at his bonded; Tom was the dominant partner between them; he knew that well for the fact. Harry, as Loki, was mostly dominant due to his need to appear strong to other animals and or predators to keep them from trying to approach him, but that wouldn't have hidden the fact that his scent was going to scream dominant-submissive to everything nearby.

And Harry didn't mind letting Tom be the dominant and the alpha; he was more suited to the role than Harry was as another human wizard. He laid his head gently to him and smiled; running his smaller fingers to his stomach and feeling his eyes begin to flood.

Harry had always been alone. Never wanted for himself as he was; only for what others could use him as, or what they saw to gain by being his friend or beside of him. And it was this long duration of years that caused a tremendous loneliness inside. A desire, a very firm one, for a want for a family of his own.

Yet, later on...Harry had begun to panic when he realized that he was more attracted to the males of his year-mates than the females. Trying in vain to hide it. No one had ever explained to him that same-sex relationships were normal and accepted in the wizarding world...well, more accepted now than years ago. No had explained to him that even though he was male; he could become pregnant if he was considered as a Carrier or Bearer, and he had a strong enough male partner. If their magics were strong enough when mixing and blending during intimacy to allow them to create a child between themselves.

Though he knew chances of natural conception with the aid of magic was still low. Normally, for same-sex pairs to conceive; a special and somewhat expensive potion was required, to boost the couples magic naturally along with their unique hormones while engaged in intercourse. It was why most same-gender couples chose adoption over the potion; which was not wrong to do if you really had the patience and the mind for rearing an adopted child.

One who might have had a bad start; one who might need constant reassurance, affection, and minding.

And then there was the fact that he had learned of the betrayals he suspected; after that, Harry had begun to dream in more clarity as the bond was waking from dormancy. He saw as Tom was toiling away; trying to figure out the places he went about in error. And all as something faint; it called to him to Tom's aura and his magic like never before now that the man's mind was mostly whole and sane.

It was like...a faint whispering voice calling to him from the breeze.

"What is so heavily on your mind this morning, my Lumi?" Tom spoke in an almost definitely erotic sounding parseltongue layered voice with a deep rasping and rich tone in his still not very awake state.

Harry eyed him now with shining eyes, "Your Lumi; I love it, but what does it mean?"

Tom chuckled and rubbed his hand to Harry's back sensuously, "Good. Lumi; it's the Finnish word for snow, so it's kind of like a really sentimental gift from me to you as my pet name for you while it's also a play on the reminder of the fact you are also Loki." He then smiled as he roamed his body lazily, "Because you embody snow. You are my snow, Harry. Something that is so light and so bright on the outside.

It's like you're letting the whole world see the radiance of your soul's beauty; the outside of it and the inside. Yet your soul's beauty is so captivating that it must be protected and masked by its sheer cold or it's brightness; sometimes both of them at once. Both aspects stopping and stunning everyone and everything nearby; the reminder of your of strength, despite all of your suffering and not letting it dampen your soul's light."
