"James, what about the others?!" I burst out after a few minutes of silence.

"They were here."

"What? How do you know?" I turn around, feeling disoriented.

"Before we came in I saw blue and green marks on the wall, their paths must've led them here too."

"Oh god," I sigh in relief.

James pats the back of my thighs,
"Keep going they probably went through here too."

The vent starts getting wider and wider, and James starts crawling next to me. One moment we were crawling, then the next I feel myself falling.

What the hell? It feels just like before.

"James!"

My eyes squeeze shut, getting ready for a hard impact. But I don't, I fall onto something a lot softer than the ground.

"Ow." I hear a small groan from underneath me.

I open my eyes to see James in front of me.

Crap, he took my fall.

He opens his eyes and stares at me confused.
"Oh my bad!" I quickly push myself off of him, standing up. "All good." He grunts as he lifts himself up as well. I look up to see where we came from then suddenly a light flashes. My flashlight falls down, it just barely misses my face. I flinch.

"You saw that right?" I ask him.

"Yeah, what the fuck?"

I finally look around, noticing my new surroundings. It looks like an empty house. My first instinct is to record. I walk over to the ominous looking stairs. There's two sections on either side. Gripping my camera with one hand, I open the door to the left. "There's a bathroom here." Walking in slowly, recording everything in sight.

Just a toilet, a shower, and a sink.

I turn the sink handle but nothing comes out. I walk back out and head for the kitchen looking area. I see James peering in the fridge.

Just what the fuck is going on here?
