Chapter 4 - 3 am water parties

The first movie that we decided to put on was Harry Potter. I remember when we all watched this together for the 1st time and we determined to figure out if we had what it takes to be a wizard! oh good times , other than the fact that we got splinters every time we tried to make a wand from the branches from the tree outside. But of course, one cannot just watch one Harry Potter movie, but after three in a row, Lance started to get a bit antsy so we put on Rocky . . Don't get me wrong ! Amazing movie, still not as good as harry potter in my opinion... I ended up falling asleep 10 minutes through the movie. 

When I woke up , I saw Harvey , Sam ,  and Lance all passed out on the floor . From where I was sitting I could see Lances mouth opened wide laying on hid back . Next to him was Harvey , also laying on his back , with Sams hand covering his eyes from behind . Anthony was off to the side , sleeping in the fetal position ,all in all it was very hard not to start cracking up at the scene .

I tried going back to bed , but couldn't so I decided to go look for Phineas . Before I left the room I took a picture of them sleeping , cackling quietly . Oh how I love blackmail !

I walked up the stairs and down the hall , being careful not to touch any of the walls or paintings that hung on the wall . Anthony's parents were loaded , and his house felt less like a home , and more like a museum half the time ! After I reached the far end of the house I passed the gym , hoping to find him there since it was his favorite room in the house . No luck , the lights were all off , none of the equipment being touched .

Thinking quickly , I realized he must he at the pool !! I ran out of the room and down stairs again to go to the indoor pool Anthonys family put in when we were in 8 th grade . sure enough from the outside window on the door I could see that someone turned on the pool lights and was swimming back and forth without a break .

Freshman year , Phineas was the best swimmer on the team , but after two years of it he quit without any reason . Or rather without giving us any reason .

I went into the changing room and grabbed the one piece I always left here in case I was in the mood too swim. Pulling my hair into a quick braid I went back to the pool, and climbed up to the diving board. I jumped on it twice before diving into the water .

A rush of adrenaline came through me , the water was freezing but I didn't mind , it felt good . Like all the stress was leaving me . I resurfaced and saw that Phineas was still doing laps. knowing better than to interrupt him I stayed quiet and did laps alongside him until he stopped 20 minutes later .

"Couldnt sleep ?" We both said

He answered before I could " just have a lot on my mind right now ."

"Wanna talk about it ? " I asked . I was prepared for him to say no because I knew how private he is . I wouldn't take offense because I knew that he just wasn't comfortable talking about that type of things .

But instead of saying no I heard him say ," Rose dumped me " quietly .

No no no no. What ? They've been going out for 2 years , that girl adores Phineas !

" Why the hell would she do that !"

"She said , she dosent think I love her the same way she loves me , whatever the hell that means ." He answered , but he looked away like he was hiding something . I knew it would be annoying if I pestered him about it , so I didn't question it anymore . I was kind of shocked that he even opened up this much too me !

I patted him on the back while saying ," you know we will always have your back if you need to talk about it ok ?"

"Yea yea I know.... "suddenly he was grinning "but are you sure you don't want to talk about David ? "

I don't think his question deserved a response so I brought my hand into the water and splashed his face with water .

"Oh hell no ! " he yelled and splashed me back . Soon we were all out of breath from pushing the water back and forth . We finally stopped.

" Comeon ! Don't stop yet we want to play to ! " Lance said mischievously. Immediately all the boys ran in kicking off their socks and pajamas to jump into the water . I bet half the water left the pool with the cannon balls they made ! They wasted no time getting down to business . Lance was flinging water at Harvey , who retaliated by jumping up to push lance down into the water. Anthony , Sam , and Phineas were in they're own water fight cracking up and choking from the water that would get in there mouths .

what would we do without 3 Am pool parties?
