ally texts her moms new number reminding her to get tampons while she's still out. but once her "mom" texts back, she realizes she made a mistake. the best mistake of her life.
i woke up at 6:30 with "me and your mama" still playing. i smile thinking of what happened. i wake up with more time today. i put on white wide legged jeans and an oversized black graphic shirt with black platform converse. i do my usual makeup and throw my hair into a mid pony. i grab my bag and run downstairs.
this morning i actually have time to eat with my sisters, my parents are already gone but coco always has something ready for us.
"how's your boyfriend" coco asks casually. i gasp, causing me to choke on my eggs.
"boyfriend??" i say while coughing.
"yeah, you know the guy you're always texting when i catch you smiling at your phone?"
"there is no boyfriend," i say sternly "mads is waiting for me. have a good day wheez." i say while giving coco a sarcastic side eye.
"ally has a boyfriend! ally has a boyfriend!" wheezie sang while running around the house.
"you love me!!" coco yelled as i walked out of the door.
i had lied. mads was not waiting for me, i was ten minutes early. i walked across the street and sat on her porch while waiting for her to come out. i was going through my messages from the night before. the door opened.
"how long have you been sitting here?" mads asked, confused.
"two or three minutes?" i lied.
we got up and began walking to school, with once again my robin arellano playlist playing in my ears, i suddenly notice me and your mama was on that playlist. i chuckled to myself.
"what?" mads asked me with a smile.
"just have a lot of things to tell you at lunch..." i replied
"NO TELL ME NOW" she yelled as i ran to my first period.
i had a couple minutes to kill so i texted mikey.
