“Welcome back, Stacey!”

I wide smiled plastered through my face. Agad akong tumakbo papunta sa kanila para bigyan ito ng mainit na yakap. I haven’t seen them for weeks. Minabuti kong manahimik at magtago sa lahat.

“Bakit hindi niyo sinabi ang tungkol sa issue niya?” I asked as I sat in the middle.

“Vincent Vague is like a forbidden word after what happened, even their band name.” Tugon ni Charity.

“Okay na kayo?” Phiannae asked.

I nodded. “We had a little chitchat that day. We aren’t mad at each other, though.”

“Oo, nag-aalala ka pa nga, e. Halata naman.” Bulaslas ni Nicolette.

Napanguso ako. Yes, I may been through a lot this year but I am glad they are still in my side. Masaya rin akong nakilala siya kahit kakaiba ang naging pagpasok nito sa buhay ko.

“In three, two, one—”

They started playing their guitars, the drum and the piano.

I am on the middle to sing the song we picked through a discussion earlier as a comeback or special performance at five-member girl band again after I rested for a few weeks.

“But I still stay ‘cause you’re the only thing I know...”

“Stacey, nagm-music class ka pa rin? Ang galing-galing mo na, baka masobrahan, ha!” Bulaslas ni Nicolette.

I laughed.

I stopped my music class after what happened. And because of their compliment, I think I won’t attend or have one again. Matagal na rin naman akong nag-aaral sa larangan ng musika.

“Lime Light tayo tonight, girls. Bawal late!”
