“Ang landi! Kaya ka iniwan, e.” I rolled my eyes.
Then I realized what did I just said. My lips parted for a sorry, naurong iyon nang makita ko ang tipid na ngiti sa labi niya.
“Hindi naman masakit.” He whispered.
I mouthed sorry but he just ignored me and sipped on his coffee. Narito kami sa Atlantis CS nina Atlas, dito niya ako pinapunta para makapag-usap kami at mas magkakilala.
“Ilang taon na nga kayong buo?” I asked.
He licked his lips. “Two years? Yeah, dalawang taon na.”
“Oh, halos pareho pala tayo. Magt-two years na rin ang Sansinukob.” I said.
I sipped on my coffee while looking at him. Tila ba malalim palagi ang iniisip nito. Gusto ko lang siyang libangin. Iwas ng kaunti sa mga iniisip. It isn’t that bad, right?
“Our seniors are slowly fading.” Usal ko.
“Yeah, they are busy working. Soon, they will have they own family already.” He smiled like he was picturing it in mind.
“Ilang taon din nilang pinagharian ang music industry. I admire them fro being so strong and powerful.” Dagdag pa nito.
I am just silently staring and reasing his eyes. It was shining but with blue.
“Why everything is so fast when you were busy with a lot of stuff? Tapos kapag wala kang ginagawa ay parang hindi na umuusad. Hindi ba puwedeng bumagal ang oras kapag abala tayo para sa kaunting pahinga?”
I smiled and shifted my seat.
“We were just too occupied to some things kaya hindi na natin napapansin. Bihira ka sigurong magpahinga, ano? Hindi mo agad napansin ang bilis ng paglipas ng panahon.”
Nilingon ko ulit siya at tinaasan ng mga kilay. He sighed and nodded multiple times.
“Yeah... I really need to rest, my heart needs it.”
