“Thank you for the great episode, girls!” The host told us after thanking the other band.
“Always po!”
Ibinaba ko ang mikropono na hawak. I picked up some tissue to wipe my sweats.
We just finished shooting for a variety show. I did not even know that we would come this far, nasa TV na kami. Nakatakdang ipalabas ang mga nangyari, dalawang linggo mula ngayon.
The whole show was fun yet exhausting. We had an interaction with Fever boys and their vocalist, Shakie earlier. Atlas and Martin were fun to talk to while Vince and Shakie is a bit quiet.
My cheeks heated up when I remember my picture with Vince before, we were schoolmates and he was once my idol and inspiration. Matagal na naman iyon, he did not change a lot, though.
“Cute ni Say kanina, nangangamatis,” bulong ni Martin sa gilid ko.
“Ay, nakiki-Say? Stacey po pangalan ko at tawag sa akin ng halos lahat.” Pabirong pambabara ko.
Sumingit si Atlas. “Vince told us your nickname was Say? Nasa profile and facts daw?”
I chuckled and face them. Agad nagtama ang tingin namin ni Vince, I smiled on him but he ignored me!
“Luh, hindi niyo po ba nabasa na para sa mga ka-close lang 'yon?“
Ngumiwi si Martin. “May gano'n, okay.” He laughed.
We parted ways teasing each other. Marahuyo and Fever band aren’t that close to each other. Medyo magkalayo ang lugar namin at bihira lang magtagpo, kadalasan ay sa mga gig.
We aren’t rivals or friends. Acquaintance it is.
