Joyce stared at the doors of the chapel. This was it. She was walking down the aisle for the second time in her life. Except this time she assured herself it would be right. As she stood there thinking about Hopper and the life, they would have together the doors of the church swung open, and music began playing. She slowly began her walk towards the front of the church where Hopper was standing.

How could she worry about whether he was right for her when he stared at her like that she thought. He looked as if she was the only person in the world and looking closer Joyce realized he was tearing up. She couldn't help the large grin spreading across her face as she continued down the aisle now looking at her sons both standing next to Hopper. They were both so big she lamented. She wished she had given them a better dad the first time, but they had Hopper now. She looked over to where she was supposed to be standing and saw Eleven dressed in a beautiful gown. Her daughter she thought fondly, she had always wanted one.

She walked up the stairs at the end of the aisle and turned to face Hopper. The priest began speaking.

"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Joyce Byers and James Hopper in holy matrimony."

Jim Hopper stared at Joyce who was grinning up at her. He couldn't believe she was his. He had this beautiful woman and two new sons, and he couldn't be more grateful. This couldn't be more right.

The priest continued "Jim please repeat after me. I James Hopper."

Hopper took a deep breath "I James Hopper."

"Take you Joyce Byers."

"Take you Joyce Byers."

"To Be my Wife."

"To be my Wife." He smiled at Joyce as he said the word wife. She looked so happy.

"To have and to hold from this day forward."

"To have and to hold from this day forward."

"For better or for worse."

"For better or for worse."

"In sickness and in health."

"In sickness and in health."

"To love and cherish from this day forward."

"To love and cherish from this day forward."

"Till death do us part."

A grin split across his face as he looked at the strong woman standing in front of him. He couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with her, so with no hesitation he repeated: "'Till death do us part."

The priest gave him a small smile before turning to Joyce.

"And Joyce will you please repeat after me."

"I Joyce Byers."

She continued to repeat the priest saying. "Take you James Hopper, to be my Husband. To have and to hold from this day forward. For better or for worse. In sickness and in health. To love and cherish from this day forward."

She looked into Hop's eyes for a moment. She almost wanted to laugh at how nervous he looked. As if she would back out now. "Till death do us part." She spoke. The rest of the room heard her, but her words weren't for them. They were for him.

The priest continued "I am pleased to announce you as Mr. and Mrs. Hopper!" Then smiling at Hopper: "You may kiss the bride."

Joyce laughed as Jim wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her hard. She giggled into the kiss knowing that all their friends and family were watching them but not caring as she kissed her husband.
