I looked a Lucy, conflicting thoughts were now in my head. 'Lucy seems to have changed. But both Leah and Lucy have hurt me.' I didn't know what to do. "Luce I need to think about it, you know it's a hard decision." "Of course Holl, that's all I wanted to hear," Lucy said with a grin on her face. How do you forgive someone after they cheat? Are you supposed to? And how am I meant to chose between Leah and Lucy? They're both perfect.

Time passed and I found myself laughing with Lucy. "I think it's time we head back," I said, to give myself time to think. "I was thinking the same darling." Lucy drove me back to the apartment. "Can I come in?",Lucy said reluctantly. "I don't think now is the best time. Maybe some other day?" I could see Lucy's smile drop. I knew it hurt her but I need to think through this decision. I unlocked the door and I saw Leah on the sofa, tears down her face. "So did you have a good time?" ,she said though the tears. "It was okay. Are you doing alright?" It was obvious Leah was not okay. "Holly I think we need to talk." I discreetly rolled my eyes. "You know I didn't mean to react like that. You think I meant to hurt you?" "I don't know what to think Leah. You were so rude to me, for only expressing my feelings. There was no need for what you said." I could feel a tear coming to my eye. "I'm apologising for a reason Hol." "I'll talk to you later about it, to be honest I can't face you right now." I turned my back and started walking away before I heard Leah's quiet voice speak again. "Do you like Lucy?", she said, hearing her voice crumble. "Look Leah it's complicated. I will explain later."

This day was too hard to process, so I got into bed and went for a nap. I woke up to Beth tapping on my door, "You okay Holly? Can I come in?" "Yes come in.", I said, slowly sitting up on the bed. "I heard about Leah, I'm sorry that happened." "Does Leah usually have trouble with her anger?" "She is working on it. It normally only comes around a sensitive topic or over someone she cares about. It's never on purpose." I looked at Beth, "Honestly, do you think Leah likes me?" "I think she really does. I've never seen her so much like herself, ever since Jordan cheated on her. It changed her for the worse. But you came and made her laugh again." I could feel tears coming, but I tried myself to push them back. "Lucy and I aren't friends. We were together for 2 years until she cheated on me twice. We've only just started talking again. I'm not saying I am getting back with her but I do really like Leah." "Follow your heart", Beth said, "Do what feels right for you. I know Leah would never cheat on you though, so you wouldn't have to worry about that." Beth leaned over and gave me a hug. "I'm always here for you Holly, you just say the word and we will sort things out together okay?" "Thanks Beth.", as my voice started to shake. Beth left me alone, and I slid back into bed. My phone pinged. I looked to see a message from Leah. It read: 'I hope you forgive me. I miss you Holly.' My feelings are so confused I don't know what to think.
