"Miss Holly? I'm here to take you on a date.."

I was just about finished getting ready for this surprise Leah had planned for me. I have no clue what it is. She never told me how to dress so I'm wearing a pair of black cargos, a white long sleeved crop top and my panda dunks. I think she's doing this as a distraction from Lucy and Keira but whatever the reason, I'm happiest with her.

As soon as I heard knocks on the door, I raced to open it. Leah was stood there looking amazing as always. She was dressed in blue jeans, an oversized beige tshirt and her white jordan's. She had also bought me a bunch of flowers, which were absolutely perfect.

"You look beautiful love." Leah spoke, a smile appearing from the sides of her lips.

"Thank you Lee, you look amazing too. You didn't have to bring flowers." My heart was racing at what felt like 100 beats. Even thought we've been dating for a while now, I can't shaking the nerves Leah makes me feel.

"Now Holl, that's a stupid thing to say. Of course you're getting flowers." Leah said, snaking her arm around my lower back.

"So, I've a few things planned for tonight and we need to leave now for the first one okay? Are you ready?"

"Yes I'm all good to go, want to tell me where we're going?"

"That's all a secret for now love, don't you worry." Leah spoke, winking at me after. The girl is so attractive. All the time.

Leah walked me out to her car, which was already playing a playlist she had put together of all my favourite songs. We sang along to each word while Leah drove, with her hand placed on my thigh, gently rubbing with her thumb for the duration of the car journey.

"Okay love. Remember when you mentioned to me you've always wanted to go axe throwing?"

I looked at Leah. "For a memory like yours, it's remarkable how you remembered this. Leah how on earth did you remember that?"

Leah's memory is like a sieve. Every bit of information slips right through it. It's a shocker when she turns up for camp at the right time, even being the captain. So this little gesture is magnified just because of this.

"I technically remembered it. I've been writing down everything you've said you liked, wanted to do or see from the very start. It helps with these surprises."

I've never seen Leah in such an innocent light before. She was sat there, with a massive smile on her face, playing with her hands. It was obvious that she was nervous.

We went inside the centre and was greeted in a very fond way. They gave us a safety procedure, which was very necessary as if we came back injured, I think Sarina would kill us both. We were led into these long cages and shown how to do it. Leah was a natural, of course. She was hitting them on the target every-time, while mine just bounced straight off the target. There was one of my throws that was so bad that it caused both of us to duck to not lose a head. When our hour was up, Leah took me back to the car.

"I hope you're hungry." Leah said to me, putting her seat belt on. This is all she said to me, putting on the music and avoiding any questions by singing. We finally arrived at our destination. We were outside Vivs house.

"Why are we here?" I said, looking at Leah with a confused look.

"We're now doubling up. Vivs cooked and we're having a small double date."

One thing to note about me (Leah if you're reading write this down :) ) is that I love home cooked meals. I would chose it any-day over going out. There's something about it that warms my heart. Viv is an amazing cook too, one of the best I know.  So for Leah to not only remember this again, and include the people I love in it, means the absolute world to me. More than I think she'll ever know and understand.

Viv had cooked a chicken curry with rice and naan bread, which was exceptional. While Viv had been cooking, Beth was setting up the front table. It had a brightly lit candle in the centre, and a small vase of flowers to its right. She had placed the table mats at each of the four places, and cutlery either side. We were all so full from dinner that it took us a while to move from our places.  Once we did, Beth had the Xbox set up, all ready for a tournament. Viv was shocking at it, despite her actual footballing talent. Leah was highly off form too, with Beth knocking her out. I ended up beating Beth, and not letting her hear the end of it.

Leah dropped me back a while after this, as it was getting late and we were both exhausted.

"Thank you for today baby. I loved every single aspect of it. You've outdone yourself again." I said, giving Leah a tight hug.

"I just wanted to make sure it was perfect for you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll speak to you tomorrow okay?"

"Goodnight Lee, I love you."

"I love you too Holl, goodnight."

(Third person)

Leah drove off into the distance, while Holly stood watching. Overcome by love, Holly doesn't realise how big of changes are entering her life. The farewells exchanged maybe the last thing said between them.
