I felt a large amount of deja vu hit me. I didn't want to see Lucy. I started to walk, with my back turned away from her.
"Come back babe. Aren't you excited to see me? We can finally have a fling again. I'll ask Sarina if we can share a room."
This made me so angry.
"Lucy. Leave me the fuck alone. I don't want you. I haven't wanted you for months. I haven't thought about you. Right now, I hate you. You made Leah kiss you. It didn't work your plan."
"I heard you were in hospital. What happened?"
"I overdosed."
Lucy's face instantly dropped. She backed away from me.
"Shit I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for my actions to do that. I just wanted you back."
"Well Lucy I don't want you back. I'm sorry but I'm in love with Leah. You do need to get over it. We're all playing together, you need to let it go."
Lucy just walked away. I sat down on the bench, my head in my hands. I didn't move for ten minutes until Beth came out.
"You okay Holl? You don't look so good."
I looked up at Beth and melted into her arms.
"Lucy. She followed me out. I told her about the overdose and she finally left me alone. It brought up so many bad memories."
Beth held me tight,
"It's alright Holl. Your safe okay? You've got all of us here now. We're your family."
I stood up as Beth did the same.
"Are you okay to back in? I don't to rush you back in Holl."
"Yeah I'm alright now. Thanks Beth."
We walked back in, with the last of the hellos coming to a close. Everyone was seated, waiting for a talk from Sarina. Leah had kept me and Beth two seats beside her. Beth let me in first, so I was safe between two people I trusted. Sarina came in soon after.
"So girls welcome back to camp, and welcome to those new players. A special welcome to Holly, who's new to camp. I hope you'll all make her feel welcomed."
Leah took my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. I smiled at her, with a big grin appearing on her face. She always looked so beautiful.
"So room arrangements for this year. I'll call them out, remember your room number and after this meeting grab a key okay? If you forget, reception can tell you but I don't expect that to happen."
Sarina read through a list of names until it came to mine.
"Room 008 will be Leah and Holly."
Leah squeezed my hand again. I was so happy I got Leah, I couldn't imagine sharing with anyone else. She made me feel the safest.
Sarina kept talking,
"Training tomorrow is at 10am, with breakfast from 7-8:30am. Lunch is from 1-2:30pm then we've got a gym session. Dinner is 8-9:30pm. Please for the love of god girls don't miss any of these. Beth, keep your timing please."
We looked around at Beth as she was laughing.
"It was one time Sarina!"
"I hope it was. Yous are all dismissed for the night, unpack and relax ready for tomorrow. Thanks girls."
There was a small round of applause and then everyone split up to their rooms.
"008 wasn't it Holl?"
"Yeah Lee it was. I'll get the bags if you get the key?"
"I'll take my own bags thanks. Don't want you stealing anything from it. I love my hoodies thanks."
Leah said, while tickling me.
"Ew guys keep it to a minimum. I don't want to hear that.
I turned around to see Jordan, laughing.
"I have missed you Jords"
"I've missed you too little sis. You been taking care of her Leah, as the elder of this relationship?"
"Shut it Jordan. Just because your single."
"Don't attack me missy, or i'll show you what happens."
Jordan jumped on my back, making me fall to the floor. She didn't let me up until I said sorry. Jordan was one of my favourite people. She always knew how to brighten the room up, no matter what mood it was in. I loved Jordan as a big sister.
