I turned round to see Lucy standing with a ball under her right arm, and her left arm floating in the air where my waist was. "Lucy..", I stuttered to say. Even to look at her I feel sick and faint. "Holly, I-I missed you a lot." I've never seen Lucy this shy before. It's like a new side to her, that over 2 years dating I never saw once. "What are you doing here?",I said sternly. "I'm the new signing. I told you I would make it up to you. How was I meant to do that from Man City." Lucy's eyes had gotten wider, a tear starting to build. "Lucy. You cheated on my. Twice. How am I possibly meant to forgive that?" Lucy is looking down at her feet, you could tell she was sorry. "I've no trust for you. How are we meant to play together if we don't like each other?" Lucy looked up quickly, "Holly baby that's a lie, I still love you." I knew if Lucy said anything more that I would give in. I begin to walk away. "Holly. Please." "Come to my room later. The room number is 401. We will talk about it then."

I couldn't believe what had happened for the rest of the day. 'Have I got mug written on my forehead?' I kept thinking. 'First Leah and now Lucy. I take it back. Arsenal might not be my home.'
Mid training session we were paired off. Leah was put with me, which is tried to get out off. "Please Holly let me explain.." I had a boiling hatred for Leah now, "Explain what? We're nothing, as you pointed out." "You know I didn't mean that. I was angry." Hearing this made me angry, "Well learn to deal with it, I'm not your mother for gods sake." Leah's face turned miserable. I know that hurt but she hurt me first. I can't just let her get away with that.

Training finished and I drove myself up to the apartment block where we were staying. I went straight into my room to get changed. I had my top off when Leah walked in. "Here Holl- Shit I'm sorry. I'll come back." I replied, knowing how desperate she was to be forgiven, "I don't want to talk to you, what don't you understand." I quickly pulled a top on, when just after I heard a loud knock at the door. Lucy was standing there. She looked as perfect as ever, her hair in a bun, with her glasses on. She was irresistible. The memories came flooding back at this moment, which I knew was dangerous. "Hi Lucy, I was thinking going for a coffee would be a better idea?", I said glaring at Leah. "Where are yous going?", replied Leah in a hurt tone. "Just a catch up with an old friend." When Lucy said this, we both laughed and walked out the door.
Leah was left in awe in what had happened. "You okay Le? You seem upset?" Viv sounded concerned for her, she had never seen Leah this upset. "Holly is it?", Beth said loudly. "Beth shut up. Did you see the way she walked off with Lucy? They have to be more than friends I'm sure of it." Beth replied, " Leah you have no right to be mad. I heard what you said to Holly. I also seen what you did to her too. Holly has the right to be mad, not you." Leah started crying at this, knowing Beth was right. 'I've fucked it up', Leah thought to herself, 'I really like the girl and i've already fucked it.'

In the meantime, Holly and Lucy had went into a nearby Costa. "So how have you been Holl? You know I am really sorry about what happened right?" I went to reply but Lucy got there first, "You know how drunk I was. She kept coming on to me, and you know I pushed her away both times." I reluctantly replied, "I know Luce but can you see why I don't trust you? If roles were reversed, you'd be just as hurt." Lucy looked like she was about to cry, in which I grabbed her hand and help it tight, making her feel safe. "I love you Holl, I just want another chance to put things right. I want to show you how well I can treat you, and how loyal I am. Please Holl.."
