Sun x Moon Oneshots

You Ok?💜 (Sun and Moon) Part 2

"I love you, Brother"

Moon had flinched- he had braced- he- Sun.. loved.. him? His head snapped up towards his sibling. He searched for any sign of deception on his brothers face- finding nothing but remorseful eyes and a hopeful smile as he sat in front of Moon.. Moon almost squealed in joy as he launched himself at his brother- getting caught in his arms as he nuzzled him. The brothers laughed and Moon cried again. "A-are you okay brother?!" Sun was suddenly ridden with worry- Moon laughed at his sibling "I'm just happy, Brother! Really, really happy!" Sun took a deep breath "Thank the stars Moony! I thought you were about to snap again!"

They laughed again for a moment before Moon quietened down in thought. "Hey Sunny?" He sounded somewhat afraid.. "Yeah Moony?" He answered back- slightly worried.. "Why- why did you scare me so badly, brother? I-I thought that you'd hated me! That you'd wanted me gone forever!" Sun froze in shame and tried to back away from his sibling to explain properly- instead, Moon desperately grabbed Sun's wrist pulling him back.

"No! Please! Stay.. don't leave me" Sun smiled sadly at him at returned to hugging him tightly, he felt his brother calm down in his embrace, relieving him. "I saw how sad you were Moony.. I knew that you wouldn't listen to me when you're that deep in your mind.. I'm sorry brother! I didn't want to make you feel that bad! I only wanted your attention! And-" Moon giggled and pulled his brother in for a hug, glad to interrupt his sibling before he rambled himself into a meltdown.

Sun laughed too- after a moment of surprise, "do you think you can forgive me Moony? I'm really sorry.." Moon looked up with a mischievous look in his eyes "Oh I don't know Sunny.. maybe if you get me 100 triple chocolate chip cookies? Maybe then I can think about it!" They laughed "Of course I forgive you brother! Just try not to traumatise me next time!"

"Next time?! This is gonna be a regular thing with you from now on?! Oh stars, I think I'm gonna explode!" Then Sun made an exaggerated boom noise and threw his arms up, falling backwards onto the bed- "Nooo! Sunny, whyyyy! How could you do this to me!" Then Moon copied Sun's actions falling down aswell.

The pair heard a loud beep from the daycare and went to the stage to look, it was the cleaner bot crew saying that they were done, wishing them a good night before they rolled off. Both Sun and Moon wishing them a good night too. They had done a brilliant job too! Not a single speck of mess was to be found or seen anywhere! A vast improvement from earlier- leading to Sun yelling multiple 'thank you's after the crew- hearing distant beeps of appreciation from the crew before the door to the daycare fully closed.

"You know Moony.. you're an amazing person! You didn't deserve anything that happened to you today.. and by the way? I am going to make you your 100 triple chocolate cookies! That is a threat and a promise!" Moon smiled widely in happiness as he laughed at Sun's threat-promise.

Any shred of fear or sadness that Moon had that day were long gone by now- he was giggling just like the little ones did when Sun did something funny- he wasn't worrying about Sun judging him anymore! He wasn't scared of his brother abandoning him anymore!

As a final reassurance to his sibling- Sun wanted to make sure that Moon would never forget that he is there for him, "I could never see you as anything bad Moon-" Sun pulled Moon in again to hug him closely as he listened happily, "I could never see you as anything bad because you are the best brother I could ever ask for, and I could never be more thankful to have you as just you, Moony, just you is perfect"

Hearing words like that from Sun made Moon begin to cry again, nothing he had been afraid of was real, none of it was true, none of it would ever happen! He couldn't be any happier. Sun kept Moon close singing little stories to him lightly, that's how the brothers stayed for the whole night, this would never happen again, this time they would both make sure of it, "You're not 'just a robot' Brother, you never were and you never will be.. Never forget that-" Sun tucked them in and hugged his brother close, giving him his favourite plushie before he fell asleep with a smile on his face. Sun joining soon after.
