A/N: It has been a long while- I apologise. But I have this! I hope it's decent enough but I'll definitely be touching it up at a later date! I hope that you have a wonderful day/afternoon/night!

Monty had been called in for repairs, he was about to go and act on an alert that his system had picked up on in a forest on the other side of the world. Monty couldn't refuse the repairs, they would take at least two weeks to complete and neither he or Lunar could wait that long for the investigation.

They were looking for Moon. He had been taken by Eclipse and Sun after he went out to try and recover some gear from one of his oldest bunkers. His tracking chip was aggressively torn out with a chunk of wires from his surrounding machinery in his chest around it.

Oil from his chest was smeared in full, horrid puddles all around and it was Lunar who had found it while wandering in the forest absent-mindedly.

Lunar was already disgusted by the sight that he stumbled upon. He glanced over it anxiously and came to a full stop when he saw Moon's creation code and serial number on the tracker in the middle of the mess.

Monty was over in an instance once Lunar gathered the strength to ping him. He cradled Lunar in his arms as he cried, sobbing and squirming in his strong grip- he was consumed by his mangled emotions and fell deeply into hysteria. He had lost so much- and now Moon was gone too? It took a long while for Monty to convince Lunar that they would overcome the event and get Moon back.

That was why it was so incredibly important for the two to do everything in their power to follow up everything, even this lead on the other side of the world. Just because of a small amount of suspicion around the alert.

Then it was decided- by Lunar's own suggestion. He was going alone.

The building was old and decrepit- smothered in abhorrent piles of scorched ivy, whether it was burned by eclipse himself or a natural fire of some kind, Lunar couldn't know.

It was made of concrete- cracked and eroded, with the rust of ancient metal accents staining the walls red.. to say it was intimidating would be the understatement of the year- Lunar was being impaled with fear and all he wanted was to turn tail and sprint back home- to hide away and deny reality like he had done hundreds of times before.

He knew in his mind that he couldn't do that this time. This was depending on him- Monty couldn't come, he was getting repaired and the other glamrocks would certainly never understand or be able to help.. Lunar had to do this, he had to find Moon, or at least a clue to get closer to getting him back. He had to.

Lunar stared at the tough metal doors ahead of him and approached, slowly, cautiously and trembling the whole way. He kept one arm curled tightly against himself as a weak form of defence- despite the fact that he currently bore a larger form, more capable then his usual comfy form. He was also slightly leant back, just in case he had to make a break for his life-

He reached out carefully to the door, barely grazing his fingertips on the doors when an immense blue light shone out onto him- blinding him suddenly and forcing him to flinch heavily in shock. He stumbled swiftly backwards, tumbling over and landing straight onto his back.

He blinked a fair few times and gathered his breath, regaining his optical sensors. He barely managed to get used to the intense light when they abruptly shut off- plunging him into a complete darkness.

Lunar quickly rose back to his feet, not willing to remain sat in the void-like dark, and began staring tensely forwards at his new revelation.. the doors jerking violently and sliding apart with a screech that hurt his head. A second layer of doors opened afterwards too- sliding up and down out of the way respectively. The opening immediately gave way for a plume of some mystical smoke, tinted yellow and orange by lights inside of the structure. Despite the fantasy sci-if imagery, his experience right now felt nothing more than horrific- his body freezing up in sheer terror.

Lunar couldn't help but sigh slightly in his head at the colours- he had expected Eclipses narcissism to cause a colour scheme like his.. but they seemed almost like an alarm indicator of some sort- but there was no way to be sure.

The yellow reminded him of their loss of Sun to Eclipse.. Lunar had never thought that he'd see the day that Sun would switch and favour Eclipse.. maybe that was his fault? Maybe Eclipse hadn't lied when he said that Lunar was always bad news.. maybe he did curse everyone else when he joined them..

His eyes widened and he quickly shook off the intrusive thoughts, turning his attention back to the door still agape in front of him. He made his decision then- and entered.

He was instantly met with a complete mess- a shocking mess- worse then anything he had ever comprehended before. Objects that would seem important were strewn everywhere and oil coated the walls in disgusting splashes that looked disturbingly ... fresh? Lunar froze.

The door wasn't open when he got there, yes- the building looked wrecked.. but there was no evidence of any break ins.. or outs... the oil was fresh. There was no doubt in his mind that Eclipse would never let him in and Sun certainly wouldn't make any decisions without first asking Eclipse- and if neither of them were there, only oil..

Then whatever caused this mess was still here- whatever being, creature or.. experiment that was responsible for this disaster- was still in here.

It was like a penny dropping into place in Lunar's mind and he became stuck, rooted to the ground, completely and utterly motionless. His mind was blank, what would he do- what could he do?

He realised now that these lights really were an alarm system. Something had happened here and he was stood right in the open, vulnerable to this apocalypse that he walked straight into, none the wiser.

He turned to run, a desperate glint of survival in his eyes- but slammed straight into the door, now closed- his only escape. He had been frozen for too long, and now he was captured. He felt life stop, he felt himself stop processing reality- he was seeing triples and felt an extreme nausea begin to eat away at him.

Lunar collapsed onto the dismal floor and pressed his back forcefully against the sealed door, as if he might phase himself through it if he tried hard enough.

He pulled his knees in tightly against his chest and pushed his face fearfully into them. His form began to shift quickly, folding and editing itself to retreat into a smaller self, his normal self. His safe self.

He wrapped his arms around his body, grasping at himself to try and ground himself- trying to resume his processing of the world around him. He needed his thoughts back, but he couldn't get them.

The bright lights and scenery that was seared into his mind made sure that he couldn't gather himself. He was entirely overwhelmed. He couldn't believe that he would be safe or that he was secure- he couldn't get any peace from his position like he usually did. There was nothing soft about this, nothing familiar or assuring, or any good.

After some time he realised that he was crying. His tears had soaked through his clothes, he was beginning to shiver which only worsened his already violent trembling. He felt like he was convulsing, but he couldn't tell- he was disassociating more and more by the millisecond.

Soon enough, he beards a tremendous explosion of scratching and smashing and shattering from somewhere inside of the facility. An animalistic growling tore through the dead silence of the place- Lunar noted subconsciously that it didn't sound aggressive. If anything it was defensive, fearful and pained..

Lunar may have sought some hope from the thought, if he hadn't heard the source of the sound start to barrel confidently through the series of corridors that were somewhere in the building. At the end of every stretch- the thing slammed into the walls before seemingly gathering itself and throwing itself down the next corridor. Lunar heard it's approach with his mechanics tightening as he knew it came ever closer. He screwed his eyes completely shut and numbed himself as best as he could as he heard it come to a stop just a mere few metres in front of him. This was it.

Lunar completely stopped breathing, every working piece of him came to a final halt. He could feel the eyes of the being gaze into him- studying him like a predator to prey. Lunar waited for it to act on its instincts.. all he could do now was hope- either for a quick end, or a merciful release. He prayed for the second one.
