Sun x Moon Oneshots

Accident!💚(Human AU! All four!) part 2!

Moon had been awake for the whole night. He had stayed right beside his sibling as he rested. He was worried out of his mind when they had first arrived at the hospital- but over time he had gotten calmer.

Lunar had stayed unconscious for a while, not having woken up at all while Eclipse was still there with them. Moon had thought that Lunar would have woken up quickly and would've been able to go home with his treated injury.. recover quickly.. not stay knocked out for hours.

He didn't know how much longer he could bear staring at his motionless sibling.. thoughts had been growing in his mind- terrified about the possibilities.. the doctor wanted to amputate his hand at first 'rusty nails' being his reason- the nail wasn't rusty! Moon knew that! He was the one that had helped the doctors hold him while they took it out- then they had said that he might fall into a coma from shock- no- that couldn't happen... could it? Lunar hadn't moved or made any sign of waking for hours and hours.. Moon couldn't stop the dread filled tears gather in his eyes.

His worry had almost completely overpowered him when a quick, fearful gasp erupted from his brother as he shot up in his bed.. he was- he was awake! But.. he was also frozen in terror.. he could see tears of panic and pain beginning to trail down his little brother's face...

.. It was bright.. really, really bright.. what happened? Why did his head ache so much? Why did his hand sting and throb so much?! What was going on?! ...

Lunar's ears were ringing loudly- causing his head to be in excruciating pain- the world was spinning and he felt like he was floating in space- he felt sick- and he was.. into a bucket?He could barely make out any of his surroundings and even moving his limbs slightly sent a striking agony through each and every one of his muscles- but he could still just barely make out the worried face of his brother next to him holding the bucket in front of him. He was sick again and again before he finally stopped. He didn't even remember what had happened and now this? He still didn't know where he was.. but Moon was here. Would everything be okay?

Moon had stood up and taken away the bucket, coming back with a new one for safety's sake. He sat back down next to his little brother- pulling him gently into his arms, letting him rest his body on top of him as he cradled him- tears still slowly falling from Lunar's eyes, but not nearly as many as before. Even Lunar's breathing has come back to a calm rhythm- Moon had begun humming a childhood melody to him and it definitely helped. Neither knew how much time had passed since they began cuddling but neither cared, both just happy that their brother was there with them.

Lunar thought for a moment, unsure whether he wanted to interrupt their hug. He was curious about the situation and had finally been able to think about it somewhat coherently other than just 'what's going on' or 'where am I?' He'd looked around slightly while his brother hummed to him and he'd realised that they were in a hospital room. That explained the bandages on his hand and the strange medical smell around him, along with the blinding lights and pure white walls of his room. The curtains were closed so he had no idea what the time was- if there was a clock- it wasn't where he was able to see. Where were Eclipse and Sun? ... Sun... a pain ran through his mind as he recalled the events from earlier- the game of hide and seek- his hiding place- Sun's prank.. his jumpscare... he remembered how he'd practically impaled his hand on that nail! He remembered the look of dread on his friends face as he passed out.

Now- Lunar felt guilty. He'd scared his bestest, closest friend in the universe! Sun probably felt terrible! He needed to see Sun! He needed to make sure he was okay too! But there was no way he would get out of the hospital without a billion tests and a quadrillion questions from the doctors.. he hated this. He wanted to go home.. a few tears gathered in his eyes again as he looked up at his brothers concerned yet somewhat relieved face. "Hey brother?" He muttered, "mhm? You ok Luney?" Lunar smiled at the nickname "are Sun and Eclipse alright brother?"
