A/N: A little bit of angst to start things off! Nothing too severe though- TW: minor injuries, breakdown. I hope you enjoy! -Alireta

Sun skipped around the daycare cleaning up the small messes that had been left behind by the final children before being collected by their parents. He had just finished stacking the last bunch of his coloured blocks before hearing a small crash from the skystage -his and moons shared space- confused, Sun decided to investigate the noise. Using Moon's wire to pull himself up to the skystages entrance, Sun peeked in nervously, not knowing what to expect. unfortunately for Sun however, as soon as he looked in, he saw that the room was a complete mess- kids drawings and an array of plushies littered the floor and Sun almost bust a gear at the sight. Forgetting about his previous concerns, Sun immediately got to work cleaning up the area neatly stacking the papers in his arms before he saw the box which originally contained the many little drawings he had just collected off of the ground. "huh" Sun said, "something must have knocked it off the shelf- that was the crash noise! but- what knocked it over-" he continued thinking oyt loud "ha ha! if Moon was here he would have said that was obvious! It's a shame that he had to go on an extra long patrol today-" sighed Sun. Moon was indeed on his patrol and wasn't going to be able to return to Sun until at least 5 am, it was only half past ten-. Moon had left about an hour ago. Sun slouched bored of time going so slowly. After a short while of Sun being boredly sat on his beanbag, Sun's mind wandered back to the crash he heard earlier, realising that he had forgotten o check out what it was. Sun became unnerved and his paranoia began to peek into his mind again- in the midst of his panic- Sun decided he had to look around the backstage area of the skystage, otherwise known as the stairway down to the basement. Sun entered the stairway through the maintenance door. When he opened the door he was met with the dark, creepy stairway leading all the way down to the basement- Sun had never been through the door before but noted that this was likely the shortcut down to the maintenance tunnels that moon had been using for years. It was almost pitch black so Sun turned to grab an emergency flashlight and a spare battery before bracing himself to brave his journey. he was on his last few flights of stairs when he tripped on some debris sending him tumbling all the way down the stairs ahead of him and directly into the cement wall infront of him, Sun cried out slightly when he hit the wall possibly alerting anything that was nearby to him of his presence. A paranoid thought that he really did not like the sound of. Just as he had gotten back up onto his feet and brushed himself off, he felt a sudden sense of danger, he turned around slowly and looked behind him fearfully scanning over the piles of bin bags and bins piled next to the newly dented wall- without even a second to react a figure burst out from among the bags and pushed Sun over with a remarkable source quickly rocketing past him, down the stairs and through the double doors entering the basement, disappearing from sight. This time Sun wasn't as lucky as he was before- he did not tumble down the stairs after all- he was thrown down straight down to the cold, hard ground. Thre was no cushioning his impact- a loud crack echoed when he finally collided with the floor- head first. An immense amount of pain streaked through Sun's head as he began to cry from the excrutiation. After what felt like hours, the pain decreased slightly and Sun slowly but surely sat up looking behind him- he was checking for any potential lost oil but was greeted instead with 4 of his rays- broken on the ground. He took a shocked breath at the sight before hesitantly reaching to touch the top of his head praying siently in his mind that he was only hallucinating due to his stress. But when he began feeling for his rays, he was only met with the jagged and ripped stumps of his broken rays.. Sun began having a breakdown- and let out a shriek of despair, collapsing again onto the ground and bawling his eyes out. What he didn't know was that the figure was stood just behing the double doors and had seen what had happened to Sun. The figure cried out in guilt- shocking sun, who had now looked up and stared directly at the animatronic tears still falling freely from his eyes. "I'm sorry!" screamed the animatronic rushing up at an alarming pace to sun- who in his current state was horrified out of his mind. After all he had: no light, was broken, in extreme pain and had just been screamed at by an animatronic that he didn't even recognise. Sun's terror quickly became to much for him and he became frozen- unable to move. Sun passed out. His eye lights then went out signifying his AI going offline. The other animatronic took fast note of thisand moved to carry Sun elsewhere. The final thing Sun had registered before shutting down was two cold hands lifting his body- with a few tears slipping from his blank eyes Sun could do nothing but hope that he would be ok.
