💔Comfort-💜(Sun, Lunar and Moon)

A/N: TW: shouting, tense characters, crying. Apologies for any typos! For context! This little story takes place just after a big argument between the celestial animatronics, they still don't know each other well and aren't very fond of each other. A small bit of inspiration from the Sun and Moon show!

Sun was tense, so were the others. He hadn't taken a big part in the argument to begin with- neither did Lunar, the two of them much preferred to stay out of the tensions and fights between the other two animatronics.. they didn't like conflict. But that doesn't mean that they weren't capable of it! Though, by the end of the fight, Sun had noticed that he had gone too far- all of them had- yelling curses and horrible insults, thankfully they did not get physical.. but they were close.

That was about an hour ago, but each animatronic had not spoken since- too shocked at the individual meltdowns that they had just caused, done and witnessed. The fight still at the centre of each mind. Sun had began to explore around the pizzaplex in an attempt to calm his nerves, though he wasn't sure if it was really helping- if it was- then it was either minimal or Sun was simply too jittery to notice. Moon had taken to his cable, beginning his rounds, using his patrol to keep his mind off the event- while Eclipse had wandered off into the basement, likely tinkering in parts and services to calm himself, indulging in a new project. As far as Sun was aware, Lunar had also wandered off into the pizzaplex, also using the exploration as his relaxation therapy.. which is why there was no extreme surprise when the two had collided in their thoughtful walk- neither paying attention. They certainly were now, however, with Sun pressed against the thin, unprotected carpets of the main area- with Lunar on top- as soon as they had processed what had just happened, the two immediately began scrambling, attempting to push each other away while trying to stand up at the same time. In this moment, they didn't look much different from when the kids at he daycare had a falling out, scuffling slightly as all kids did- it probably looked quite funny to any potential animatronic witnesses. Once they had finally untangled themselves, they stood a few feet apart- awkwardly fiddling with their hands, not really looking at each other. Excepting the odd glance of course. Finally Sun spoke, breaking their awkward silence, "Hi.." he said- much more nervously then he had wanted. Lunar looked up at him slightly, nodding at him in a greeting, yet nervous way- he probably felt very similarly to Sun, about the whole thing that had went on that day. The silence then continued for a while, neither of them wishing to speak..

"I never did anything to you, by the way-" Spat Lunar, "I don't even know why you're complaining so much? What did I ever do? Not be perfect? Not be you?" He asked, a hint of anger in his voice. "It's not my fault you always act like a princess! I'm just as much a victim to Eclipse's and Moon's sh*t as you are, if not more! I've been around way longer than you! I've dealt with things hundreds of times worse than you! You don't understand! You're stuck up on your high horse and you have no reason to have anything against me!" Sun was raging again, screaming loudly and shaking from tension as he yelled. Not opening his eyes- which were scrunched up in anger- and not seeing the newly wide-eyed Lunar stood in front of him. Tears streaming down both their faces, both shaking from stress. Lunar wordlessly turned walking away from Sun at a fast pace, not daring to look back at him. Sun only opening his eyes once the footsteps had faded.. why was he like this? Why did he scare him.. he's only a child...

With his thoughts getting the best of him- Sun sank down on his knees, sobbing as negative thoughts filled his tense mind.. then he was suddenly swiped up from the floor, quickly being lifted high into the air of the large pizzaplex. He yelped in shock and fear, he didn't know who had picked him up- if it was Eclipse- maybe Lunar had told him about Sun's burst at him, maybe he would be dropped in spite- he sobbed panicking- he was at the mercy of whoever had scooped him up so suddenly, he didn't like that one bit.. he was then spun around so that he was facing the person that had taken him- rotated so that he was laying on top of them. He heard a familiar lulaby beginning to be sung- and saw Moon's troubled face looking at him, as he began to gently pet Sun's head, coaxing out his rays that had been tightly pulled in due to Sun's emotions.. Moon carried on his careful singing, cradling his fragile brother as he felt his rushed breathing and heart rate begin to slow, he felt that his shoulder was soaked in tears but he didn't mind- all that mattered to him now was comforting his troubled sibling, he maneuvered the cable he was using to wrap himself and Sun safely, unable to fall from their place. He could feel Sun fall asleep on him- the wordless comfort his brother gave him luring him into a peaceful rest, and Moon carried on protecting him for the rest of the night, reminding himself to thank Lunar at naptime the next day- it was him, after all that had come to him after Sun had yelled at him.. telling a not-so-happy-to-see-you Moon that his brother was in desperate need of consoling, he was glad- now- that he had listened to Lunar, being able to help Sun was all that Moon had wanted to do following the day's unfortunate happenings- he was still embracing Sun, still singing lightly as he slept, thinking calmly of a way to help the four of them come to peaceful terms with each other.. they would each need to bond- as Eclipse had suggested earlier, Moon had chosen to speak to Eclipse after the argument, seeking any kind of advice regarding his brother. He wasn't proud to turn to Eclipse but the brothers had a colourful discussion regarding the two more childlike animatronics, turns out- both Eclipse and Moon were both thinking about how to help them, and both were glad for the opportunity to discuss. After that, they themselves bonded over coding and science- finding that they both had a surprising amount of similar likes and dislikes between them. Huh- who would've guessed. They had already made some smaller plans to help Sun and Lunar bond- now they just had to figure out how they would get them to hang out without seeming to suspicious or staged, easier said than done.. he felt Sun shift in his arms, whimpering slightly- it hurt Moon's soul to see Sun distressed- he would carry on thinking later- for now, he would focus on settling his brother back to a calm sleep.
