A/N: First fantasy story! Hope it goes well! I may make a second part to this story! All four of the celestial animatronics are sirens in this one! Have a great day/afternoon/night!

Eclipse was stuck.. So was Sun. The two had been travelling the sea in a pair since they were newly hatched, they had no clue who their families were or if they were siblings or not- but the similarities between them gave them a pretty big clue that they were.

Sun was clumsy, so Eclipse often found himself having to fish Sun out of every kind of problem- it annoyed the life out of him, and he was often harsh to his brother- but he did care for him greatly nonetheless.. which is why they were both currently trapped, tangled in a thick net at the bottom of the, not too deep, reef they were exploring. Of course, it was Sun's fault. He had gotten too close to a fishing net, trying to free the fish from the net's grasp.. he succeeded! But he hadn't realised that his own tail had been snared by the trap. Eclipse had rushed to the sound of Sun's fearful screams and cries, Sun's thrashing pulled Eclipse in too.. both of them had become tangled.. both fighting for their lives.

Luckily, Eclipse had managed to tear the net from the boat before they got too close to the surface, no hateful humans had spotted them, thank the seas.. but their tails were utterly tangled. Their attempts to tear the rope only caused their arms to be caught as well.. so they helplessly sank, resting not so peacefully on the coral covered sands. Eclipse had managed to soothe his brother, making him feel safer and better than before. All they could do now was wait, and hope that some lucky piece of scrap metal would fall into their hands or a particularly sharp piece of coral.. what were the chances? They didn't want to think about it.

On the other side of the reef, another pair of wandering Sirens were exploring the new area. In contrast to Sun and Eclipse, these sirens were coloured brilliantly in many shades of blues and purples, with small yellow and lime green star like patterns covering their bodies. These sirens were Moon and Lunar. They came from a similar background to Sun and Moon- hatching without family and realising that they were siblings- they also went to travel the seas, Lunar would always be looking for interesting things to keep or to play with, while Moon opted to observe his surroundings and study the lives of the fish and sea monsters that they came across. He knew almost every species possible- and he always wanted to find more. The only species he never found- another siren.. they had heard that they were counted under 'almost extinct' by humans.. they predicted 5 more of them in existence at most.. Moon and Lunar were already two..

On the other hand! They had just discovered a new current and bunch of land when Lunar had seen the small coral pieces leading up to the reef! Moon was just beginning to study a particularly new shipwreck, when Lunar grabbed his wrist and practically dragged him away from his research, not having properly discovered or explored a new place in ages! They had been swimming in empty oceans for ages it was about time they had a new place to see!

Moon let himself be dragged, he couldn't lie about his interest in the new place! It was all so new and intriguing! Maybe he'd meet a new species again! Maybe.. maybe he'd finally find another of their own kind? He hoped so.. but the chances were so slim! He didn't want to know the chances..

That was when they heard a bunch of screams from nearby in the reef- it sounded like them?! Another Mer?! The brothers shared a look of concern as they both began to race towards the sound.. they couldn't believe it.. two sirens were tangled into a thick fishing net, one was a vast array of yellows and oranges, some mint coloured star patterns? The other was more crimson and orange- it looked harsher and meaner then the yellow siren and had just barely managed to rip the net off of the boat. Stupid illegal fisher people... they had become too tangled to free themselves, their struggles caught their arms too. The yellow one seemed to cry, apologising to the harsher one, luckily it seemed that he was forgiving towards the other.
