I knew that Elena and Bonnie were keeping something from us about Jack, and I knew it was something dark because of the way Bonnie acted around him. I jumped out of the car and I could see everyone else was already having fun. There was a bonfire and everyone else was drinking or talking, laughing an dancing. It had been a long time since I was like that, but then again, they were oblivious to the whole supernatural concept. I was partially normal, if you accepted my ex-girlfriend Elena, the Salvatore brothers and Caroline are vampires, Tyler was a werewolf, Bonnie is a witch and Jeremy is a hunter who can see dead people. But above all, I am normal.

I then see Jack with Jeremy and Elena, talking, and Caroline and Tyler linger nearby, but Stefan is beside me. "So, what do you think Bonnie and Elena are so worried about" he asks, then taking a sip of beer. "I think it's about Jack. But we only met him today, how can they already have a hunch in someone who is practically a stranger?" Stefan then sits down and says "Witches can sense people's auras, even their personalities, but Jack seems far from a problem." I laugh and say "It's usually the unexpected who become our enemies, isn't it."

Stefan and I then joined the group again, and time slips away quickly. Close to midnight, Jack was constantly being watched by Bonnie and Elena. Suddenly, Jack was looking toward the forest, looking into the coming fog. Soon after, Jack seemed entranced by it, almost hypnotised, and Jeremy then looks toward it, almost shocked. Jack then raced for it, heading for the white mist and the dark forest, and soon, he was gone.
