Eventually, we arrive at the Salvatore boarding house, where Klaus' silver Lamborghini is parked, and he then opens the car door, stepping in, and I walk around to the other side, feeling strange considering I had no belongings with me. He starts up the car and we then set off, driving like a race car. speeding down the road, and I don't even have my seat belt on. I breathe in and out slowly, realising that I had just met my father, and all I had really done was bargain with him and walked about ten miles with him, silently. Fantastic way to start off a relationship, I told myself in my head, sarcastically. After around ten minutes, we arrived at a large, three storey mansion, all in the colour of winter snow and my jaw drops. We pull up and he then steps out, closing the door behind him, only before I can even flinch to reach for my door handle, he opens it, after flashing there. "Thanks," I reply, and when I step out, I walk toward the mansion, while he follows behind me.

At the two wooden doors, he pushes them both open, crossing the threshold as he does so.The doors close behind us both, and I am astounded at the sights before me. In the centre of the room is a circular staircase that spun around to the second floor, and each wall was lined with fine paintings and portraits. "Breathtaking, isn't it" Klaus asks, only I nod my head, adding "Marvellous." Klaus then walks toward the staircase, then, he exclaims "Choose any room you wish to have, I shall have one of my Hybrids pick up your belongings from your previous home and bring them here, and I do hope you'll feel welcome and at home here." I nod, then, I ask "There's more Hybrids?"

"Yes, after the veil broke, I managed to preserve the many souls of my Hybrids and them studied by few witches for years until they could bring them back, each of them are now sired to me." I then watch as he leaves the threshold, only he then approaches the glass door, one that couldn't be seen through, and he then enters, closing the door behind him. I head on up the stairs, my hand on the rail, pulling myself up the countless steps, and each time I come to look down a hallway, I see few men down them, each of which I believe are Klaus' Hybrids. "Good evening, Mr Mikaelson" many of them chorus, and I raise a slight hand to wave, only I then notice a staircase in the far end before me, which I believe led to the third floor. "Uh, excuse me" I call to one of the Hybrids, who straightens up when I walk toward him. "Yes, Mr Mikaelson" I then protest and say "Please, I prefer you called me Jack," then, I ask "Is there anything up on the third floor?" He then answers "No, there is nothing up on the third floor, Mr M-" he paused, then said "Jack, sir."

"Thanks" I say as I head toward the stairs, the light growing darker as I come to the pale stairs. I walk on up, the sound of my feet thunders the silence, and at the top, I come to a set of two white doors with golden handles. I then twist both of the handles and push on them, the doors swinging open and revealing the room before me. The room is large, two walls entirely white while the wall facing the woods in mainly made of glass, and moonlight falls in through the large glass windows above the set of doors. I then take few steps forward, looking out the window, and gazing into the woodland. My heart longs to return out into the open, to be with them, to be with Katherine, but I am but a pawn in this world. I am the son of the King of the Damned, who shall either bring the end of the people who want me dead or my kind. My life was officially screwed up.

I then turn back to leave, but there is something on the corner of my eye that causes me to halt. I look out the window, facing the direction of which I halted, and I look right at what I never expected to see. There, lying among the forest floor, covered in blood and water, are the lifeless bodies of my family. My mother's shirt is torn, as is her flesh, blood covering her shirt, and Dad's neck is cut by what looks like claws, blood surrounding him and staining h9s clothes, while Hannah, she stands over the bodies, wearing the hospital gown, and she looked up at me, only I gasp when I see what is in her eyes. The colour of blood fulfills her iris', and then, she walks off into the forest, the bodies vanishing along with her.
