Katherine: Chapter Seven

I smiled as I always did, intimidating Caroline, scaring Elena and Stefan looked away, knowing that even though I didn't love him or Damon any more, he still couldn't stand to look at me. So, what was I called for? Help, information?" Elena stood up, and I then listened to her say "We need information about him." Elena pointed to a boy, sleeping on the couch, and I admired him.

He had short, scruffy blonde hair, he was muscular and he was tall. "His name is Jack Bloom" Elena said, and she continued when saying "He was in an accident a few weeks ago, over at Wickery Bridge. Damon said you might know him." I then headed for the table of alcohol, poured myself a small glass of bourbon an said "As a matter of fact, I do know him." I sipped the drink, then explaining the story.

...Flash Back...

It was cold and the fog only just slipped out of the forest, and I couldn't believe I was returning to Mystic Falls. I had such bad history there, the Salvatore brothers, the burning of Fells Church, and I had still decided to return. I had lost all feelings for Stefan and Damon, realising I never really loved the two brothers. I had toyed and played with them, and I had enjoyed it, but since I left Mystic Falls, I had changed my ways.

I wasn't killing humans, barely even feeding on them, and I helped people, I guess I sort of saved humans. I guess I was a good vampire. I was heading through the woods, and gazing at the silver moon. I had missed the night sky here, as well as the day, for I treasured sunlight since I received my daylight jewellery. I now wore my lapis lazuli necklace, and I could feel the silver chain around my neck adjust to the cold radiation from my body. I headed for the west of town, knowing it was closer to Wickery Bridge, and I certainly didn't want any Originals seeing my car and knowing I was in town. I then come close to the edge of the woods, and I then hear a car swerve and then splash. I immediately phase from one place to the bridge, seeing a car had fallen in.

I then see someone, a manly figure casting a dark shadow, then looks at me, but within seconds, he is gone. I have the chance to save the people in the car or chase the criminal who had caused the accident. I then step into the barrier, suck in all the air I possibly can and then dive into the river. Bubbles from the car pass me, and I swim down, going further and further, only just seeing the dim car lights. I then manage to get to the car, and I see a man in the driver’s seat, with some blood on his hands, possibly due to the dead, bloody body beside him. I am about to tear off his door and save him, but he notices me and stops me. He points for the back, telling me he had kids that needed saving.  I move to the back, and I can see in the window, there is a boy, almost dying, holding into his dead sisters hand and holding his dads hand. I then tear the door open, and rip the seat belt away, then grabbing him by the shirt collar and pulling him to the surface, praying he will live to see the next day.

"You saved him from the crash" Tyler said while looking at Elena, knowing that was the same way she was here today. "Like I said, I'm changing." I then hear Stefan mutter "Sure, if vampires didn't exist." I ignored the comment and said "The moment I pulled him above water, I knew that he wasn't normal. He looked incredibly normal, yet there was something about him that wasn't at all human. It was unearthly." Bonnie sighs and says "But we need to know if he is a threat to us and why the hunters were after him." Once she said so, Jack stirred, and all grew silent and still. Jacks eyes fluttered and then opened, and he looked all around, looking at me last. I never noticed how beautiful his sapphire eyes were, and how entrancing they were. "What the hell! Two Elena's, a girl with powers and you people. You moved way too fast, your strength was incredible." Jack looked at all of us, and Elena was about to explain it all when I then said "Doppelgängers, witches, werewolves and vampires. Welcome to the world I the supernatural.”
