I lingered beside the door, the magic sending vibrations through my entire body whenever I neared the door to the cellar. I then reach out with my index finger, reaching for the glowing green and black door, only the moment my skin comes in contact with the volts, I am shocked, almost blown back into the wall behind me. I screamed in pain, and Damon made his way out, heading toward me. "Witch-bitch has gone overboard" I say, leaning against a wall, playing my daylight necklace, and he chuckles, exclaiming "Katherine, that ship has sailed long before." I sighed, really wanting to enter and see Jack, see him smile, but it was the thought of him smiling that intrigued Damon, causing him to ask "You like Jack, don't you?" I was so close to jumping up, pinning him to the ground and stake him in the chest, but I guess I was giving into what he was claiming. I could feel a certain something, something kind, warm and pure, rising in my chest, somehow consuming my heart, having it succumb to the thought of him. "I guess I do" I explain, trying to contain my smile. "Well, nothing stopped Romeo and Juliet from getting hitched, so why are you giving up on trying to get in." I shook my head, smiling, only to say "Don't underestimate me Damon, after all, everyone has sources." I then pull out my phone and start to type in a text message, reading it aloud as I type. "Son of the Damned lodging in the Salvatore House- xoxo Katerina." Damon smirked, only he then asked "Who'd you text, Katerina" he asked, mocking my true name. I smirked myself, then saying "The Devil's messenger." Damon's jaw dropped, and he shouted "You told Klaus?!"
