You hadn't expected to be stood outside Cillians house on a friday evening with tear stained cheeks, two bottles of wine and a broken heart, but here you were.

As soon as he opened the door, the smile on his face dropped, without a word he was pulling you inside, you were stumbling to get your shoes off when he grabbed your hand to stop you just for a second.

"Whats happened?" he was holding your hands, eyes scanning your face which you were sure looked a mess.

You took a shakey breath, feeling your voice crack as you spoke "He broke up with me" you let out a small sob, finally kicking off your heels.

Cillian had wrapped you in his arms, your head against his chest, definitely getting mascara on his tshirt, you were a snuffling mess, fingers curled into the thin material. His hand was gently stroking the back of your head, fingers running through the long brown locks.

"He's an idiot, I told you that before, darling" he tutted leading you through to his lounge, the TV was on, some old film playing there was a beer on the coffee table.

"I know, I know" you almost wailed you were so distraught, the way he had done it so publicly in the middle of the bar, the smirk on his face as he told you he didn't want to see you again, that the past seven months had really been a waste of his time.

You'd managaed to hold the tears until you were in the back of the uber, the driver flicking worried looks at you in the rear view mirror, you'd stopped at the garage two roads from Cillian's Kilburn house, walked the rest of the way after getting the wine, hoping he'd be in, you couldn't bare to text him the reason you were on your way over, you just needed to see him.

"Did he give you a reason?" Cillian sat down beside you flicking the film onto pause.

You didn't dare look him in the eye as you mumbled "said I wasted his time, because-" you stopped to take a breath "because I still hadn't had sex with him" you threw yourself back into the cushions of the sofa.

Cillian joined you, turning his head to look at you, arms folded across his chest. You'd met Cillian at a film festival in Ireland, you were working as a personal assistant to some rude new starlet and were escaping her in the bar towards the back of the venue.

Cillian was escaping the press and his girlfriend who was trying to do some over the top displays of public affection, which made Cillian want to curl up and never return to the public eye.

You'd got on so well from the moment he asked to join you at the only available seat in the whole area, you'd recognised him but it wasn't a big deal you were around filmstars alot, you were relaxed in his presence and by the time his girlfriend found him, he'd got your email and promised to put you in touch with a friend in need of a PA.

That friend had turned out to be Paul Anderson, you'd charmed him into hiring you even though you were still quite young but you had promised him you knew alot and on the set of Peaky Blinders was where you formed a strong friendship with Cillian.

Cillian had finally persuaded you to eat something, he'd ordered pizza from the pub down the road and opened the wine you had bought with you, you'd curled under one of his blankets, scrolling on your phone as he finished the film he was watching, your legs stretched across his, his hands lazily running up and down your jean covered shin.

"Cill, I hope I didn't ruin an evening you had planned with Maggie" you spoke up, you hadn't even given it a second thought, that his girlfriend might be around, too wrapped up in needing to see your closet friend.
