You met Cillian in the most unusual way, picking your dogs up from unexpected stays at the vet.

Their kennels were side by side, they'd somewhat bonded. Scout towering over Luna but friends nonetheless.

A few weeks later you'd been walking the harbour one morning to see a chocolate lab bounding towards you paying no mind to his owner calling his name.

Seconds later Cillian was rushing up to you calling out for Scout, a little shocked to see you stood there.

Coffee was the only option, coffee and a walk with the dogs turned into a weekly occurrence when Cillian wasn't away filming.

You'd become Scouts sitter when Cillian was away, FaceTimes of Cillian 'checking in' on Scout turned into hour long conversations about everything that was happening in your lives.

Now two years later you and Luna had moved into Cillian's Monkstown house, Cillian always started his day with a run along the harbour with both dogs.

This mornings run had been cut short by the torrential downpour, Cillian coming back ten minutes after leaving.

You were curled up in bed, right over to his side still barely awake,the smell of coffee had you sitting up eyes finding your still damp boyfriend at the side of the bed.

"Will you help me bath the dogs? They somehow got soaking and muddy" Cillian smiled knowing full well he had allowed them to run through as many puddles as they could.

You rolled your eyes of course you would, there was only a few days left until he was in New Mexico filming for months, any simple task that was spent with him was worth it.

Dogs were bathed, Cillian had become just as soaked as them in his attempt to wrestle Scout from the tub, you'd sent him to shower.

The dogs were happily lounging in their shared bed with full bellies while you busied yourself with making a feast of a breakfast because rainy days called for food and sofa cuddles with your boyfriend.
