-So? Wasn't that bad.. right?
Nate asked me while we were getting out of the last class of the day.

-Not at all! Your school seems nice!

-Our, you mean.

-Yeah.. I really need to get used to it..Like saying it..

-Nate? Are you coming?
His friends showed up.

-Give me a sec..
He replied and the others went a bit away from us.

-Do you have someone to take you home? Or?

-My dad will be here for today.

-What do you mean for today?

-Tomorrow I will try to walk home.. He will be at work too

-I see, I could take you home everyday

-Thank you, but you don't have to do that..

-No am just..
While we were talking, I saw my dad's car opposite.

-I have to go! Thank you Nate

-Of course.. See you tomorrow!

-See ya
I walk to the car and get in.

-Well well well, what we have here.. How was the school?
I started describing my day at school to my dad.

-You see? I told you that everything would be okay.

-I know dad.

-That guy.. you were talking to

-Dad! Don't start!

-wait, he just reminds me of someone

-Ohh! You don't remember him??

-Enlight me

-Its Nate! you met him at grandma's village!

-Ohhh I get itt , I didn't recognise him at all. How..?? At least you have someone you know.

-Yeah.
We went back home and my dad had to meet some people about his new job.
Home alone; again.
It was 5pm and I still didn't have a text or a call from Steve.
I am not sure why I was expecting for him to call me..
Or maybe I know. Because am in love with him and I miss him already. I must be stupid I didn't call him.
I take my phone to call him.. I was keep hearing that stupid sound "beep" "beep", waiting for him to answer. I think it is the first time he doesn't answer the phone in seconds.
Keep calm Hayley! AM STUPID!
This overthinking, has to stop.

-Hey..
I hear Steve's voice. I was so terrified because he hasn't the phone call sooner, that I found his "Hey" really weird. Like something is wrong.
