"Eat something before you leave" Dad says before going back upstairs to mum.

I stayed overnight at his house with mum. If I faced Dylan or Justin I know I'd rip their jaws off, so I chose to stay away from the house and stay here with dad until mum decides what she wants to do.

I hadn't realised that my wallet was missing until this morning. Given everything that's been going on I haven't really worried about much.

Last time I had it was on Friday, when I went to the night club with the boys. I woke up back home in my bed and I still don't remember how I got there. I don't know what the hell happened that night, but I don't remember much.

Well, it's the start of another week. Monday. Fucks sake.

Classes shifted around for this week, so today I only have one class. Health and Human development with the boys and Kelani.

Kelani. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that I've been around Alaiyahs sister this whole time and never realised.

Alaiyah would break my kneecaps if she was here, knowing I been treating her little sister like shit instead of looking out for her.

I'm sorry Alaiyah, I'll try to do better. It's just difficult to change behavioural habits.

I guess you could say I'm naturally an asshole.

I munch on an apple as I head out the door.
_____
I walk in class and to my surprise, Kelani is early.

The boys ares here yet, she's sitting at the table alone, he back facing me.

She's sitting in the usual seat. Across mine closest to the wall so she can lean on it.

Fuck. I was supposed to give her her wallet today, but It's back at Dylan's house. Of course. I have to grab it sometime.

I get to my seat and sit down, lowering my eyes on Kelani.

"Hey." I say

She doesn't answer, hiding away her face. She's wearing a hoodie and facing toward the wall, leaning on her arm.

"You good?"

"You're actually asking me that question?" She mumbles in her arm

"Yeah? Why?"

She scoffs

"You can't be serious right now"

"What are you on- I'm just asking if you're alright moron"

" 'we're barely even friends' you said. And now you're asking me these questions suddenly"

"Well..."

"You basically told me to fuck off"

"But-"

"Nah but it's all good. You were right to say that. I wouldn't be friends with someone like you anyway" she says as her tone shifts to disgust at the last sentence.

Someone like me? What does that mean? Does she know what I do in my dads organisation?
I mean surly she knows now that I'm in the mafia since she knows that Gabriel, the mafia boss himself, is my father. But she wouldn't know what I do in it- would she?

Just as I'm about to say something else, Ace enters the classroom.

"Hello peoples" Ace smiles as he sits in the seat beside me.

"What's up bro" I take out my hand and greet him.

"Man the weather is so bipolar. Earlier it was all sunshine, blue sky- but now it's rainy and grey"
