BEING PURCHASED ONCE AGAIN

SHE KNOWS THAT RICHARD would do it for her, all she really had to do was say the word and the guards would kill her father. But she had to shake that thought out of her mind because she had to be better than him, she had too more in her life. So, she looked up at Richard, he was looking at her father with this hate in his eyes.

She cleared her throat and calmed herself down before speaking once again, "Alright, Dad."

"What do you mean alright?" questioned Richard.

"Just pay him whatever he wants and let's get out of here, and start our new life together," she replied.

Richard was frustrated knowing that this man was going to win once again, that her father was no good for nothing and that he knows, he knows where she was and never tried to save her from me from herself. Mindy deserved so much more than she ever had in her childhood, he knows that the best thing was to just do it so she could put her father in her past and he will truly make her future so much wonderful.
"How much do you want," Richard said through his teeth.

"Well, then I think my daughter is worth a good penny, so one hundred thousand," he said without hesitation.

Mindy blinked her eyes a few times but said nothing. Richard tightly his hand around her hand, and she could feel the anger within him. But she knows that she needed to say something.

"No," she told her father, "You don't deserve that kind of money, and why do you need it?"

"Don't worry about that, I need that amount. So, give me the money for your freedom or you will stay here with me, and I will make sure you never escape me again," he angrily said taking two more steps through her.

She flinted back, dragging Richard back with her. Richard moved his body in front of her making sure her father wouldn't be able to grab her. He then flashed his fangs, along with the two guards behind them, they were ready, ready for a fight. But she knows that her father had no chance at all, that he would be torn apart by them. She wanted it, she wanted that to happen, she even lends to the side to smirk at her father, with that thought running through once again. But she shook her head, shook that thought away.

Then she once again softly spoke to Richard, "Please my love, please give him the money so that we can get out of here. I don't want to be here anymore," she pledged.

Richard turned around to face her and then lend down and softly kissed her forehead and without a word looked over at the guards and then turned and walked out of the house for a moment or so. They both returned with a suitcase in hand and gave it to Richard. Mindy looked down at the suitcase wondering why she didn't see that case when they got into the car but maybe they already had it all ready to go when they started this journey.

Richard turned back around and look at her father, "Now give her your blessing and mean it!"

Her father looked at Mindy and without hesitation said, "Mindy Rose, I as your father give you my blessing and permission to marry this man." And just like that this feeling comes over her, a feeling that she has never felt before. But it felt freeing like these invisible chains disappeared and she smiled a small smile.

Richard then handed the case to her father, turned, and started his way to the front door with Mindy right behind him.

"Mindy, just know that I will always be watching you," her father said as she walked out of the house, "Remember you will always be my daughter," he finally yelled out at her and that's when she stopped and turned around to look at her father.

With this evil look in her eyes and through her teeth said to her father, "You are dead to me." And with those final words she turned back around and headed to the car never looking back again.

They got into the car and pulled out of the driveway and started their way home. Mindy didn't look back; she didn't look to see if her father was still standing on the porch of her childhood home. She knows that this was the end of the darkness, of the pain she went through when she was locked away with her father in that old cave behind the house in the darkness of the woods. She felt this small pain in her heart, a pain she couldn't explain but maybe it was a relief.

As they drove, she looked out of the tinted window looking out into the dark night sky, the moon was hiding behind the clouds and the stars didn't shine at all. Richard just sat there, not knowing what to say to her, wishing that he could have taken any pain she was feeling.

The house was lilted up, as they drove up the driveway, she took in a deep breath for a moment she didn't release her breath. She just held it in and counted in her head, one, two, three before she let it out slowly. The car come to a stop and the guards got out to open the passenger door.

Richard didn't move, he turned to look at her and softly said, "Are you alright, my love?"

She turned to face him and gave him a small smile, "Yes, my love, I am fine. I am finally free of him," and with those words, she began to cry.

Richard reached out to her and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to his chest and tightly hugging her, and whispered, "Yes, my love, you are now free to live your life." And she knows what he said was true, that it was finally time to truly live her life with the man she fell in loved with. She knows that Richard would do anything to keep her safe and give her a life that she couldn't dream of.

Richard cleared his throat, and said, "Come on let's get inside." He releases her from his hug and got out of the car and dragged her right behind her slowly. They walked up the steps to the front door, before going in her lend down and kissed her softly on the forehead.
