A Slave for a Vampire

Part NINETEEN

MINDY HAD RETURNED TO THE ROOM, while Richard and his father spoke about the marriage, but there was still something that truly made her worry about. She began to wonder about her father, and all the things he had done to her in the past, would be even know that this would be one thing that he could do for her to let her finally move forward with her life, or would he put a stop to it and once again try and hurt her.

She didn't know what will happened, but she knows one thing and that's that this time around she wasn't alone, she had Richard and he would protect her for it all. Mindy walked over to the bay window and sat there for a moment looking out at the world, and hoping that everything will go as plan, since she didn't truly know what the plan was, but she trusted Richard with all her being.

But what if her father didn't give them permission, she wonder what Richard would do then. She was afraid that he would try to kill her father even do he deserved it for all he did to her, but still it was her father. She was in deep thought when Richard walked into the bedroom, he walked over to her and sat down right beside her as she looked out the window.

He knows what she was thinking about, so he reached out his hand and place it under her chin so that she would look at me. "Mindy, please stop worrying about thing?" he asked her.

She looked at him for a moment and then said to him, "I'm scared, and what if he doesn't give us permission? What if you decide to leave me then?"

"My love, I will never leave you," he told her as he looked deep into her eyes. She couldn't help but smile at him, cause no what how she was feeling at that moment she knows that he was telling her the truth.

"Plus, if we can't have children, I'll be happy with just having you forever!"

But the thought of not being able to give him a child made Mindy sad, but all she knows that in the end of this all, she will be married to Richard.

"Let's go to bed, baby. It's been a long day for the both of us, let's get some rest for tomorrow will be longer as we try and find your father," he said to her as he lifted her up into his arms and carried her over to the bed.

He laid her down and then slipped in right beside her, he wrapped his arms around her just holding her tightly until she falls asleep.

Dream...

She was asleep in the cave where her father was hiding her from the vampires. She was laying on the cold ground when her father come into the cave once again, he was drunk, and she know what will happen to her.

She laid there afraid as she usually did, wishing and praying he wouldn't rape her once again, but she wouldn't be that lucky. He walked over to where she was at, pulled her up and began kissing her all over as she tried to pull away from him but instead this time, he hit her so hard that it made her black out.

When she come to, he was on top of her naked body, he was pushing hard into her, she didn't make a sound, she just laid there as he kept pushing harder and harder into her. Tears rolled down her face, she was praying in her head, "Please make his stop, God." But nothing....

Then he looked down at her and lend down and whispered into her ear, "You belong to me, no other is allowed to touch you but me." And with that he was done.

Before she knows it, his hands were around her neck, squeezing tightly, choking her ......

That's when Mindy, jumped up in a sitting position in the bed and she then bring up her hands to check her neck, Richard reached over and place his hand on the small of her back.

"Mindy, it's alright my love, it was just a dream!"

"This didn't feel like a dream at all," she told him with tears in her eyes.

He sat up in bed, pulling her to him so that she could rest her head down on his chest, he stroked her hair trying to calm her down knowing that it had to be a dream about her father. He didn't know how things would turn out in the end but all he know is that he would fight for her til his dying breath.

"Richard, my father will never let me go, he will not accept this marriage and he will try to kill me," she told him with tears running down her face.

"Mindy, everything will be alright, I promise you. I will do everything to make sure you are safe, and we are married," he resourced her

She knows that he would try all he could but still she didn't know what will happen in the end, but she had to have faith in Richard. In knowing that he would fight for her. She lends into him, resting her head on his chest and closed her eyes and breathed in his scent, calming her.

"I love you," she softly said to Richard as she falls back to sleep.

"I love you too my love," he relied to her. And with that they both fall to sleep.

Finally, when Mindy woke, she didn't know the time, but Richard wasn't in the bed with her. She sat up and reach over to get her dairy but before she could open it up, Richard had returned to the room with a tray of food for her. She looked at him and smiled, he walked over to her placed the tray on her lap and lend in and gave her a morning kiss.

Brest-fast was two eggs, bacon, toast and juice which smelled awesome. She started off eating as she looked at Richard.

"Is everything all right?" he asked her.

"Yes, I'm fine and the food is amazing, thank you," she replied to him.

"Anything for you, my darling. I just want you to know that today I will be going out and finding your father," he told her.

She stopped eating and looked at him for a moment before telling him, "I know where he is at, so you don't need to try and look for him. I will go with you, and we will talk with him."

"Mindy, you don't need to put yourself through this or anything at all, you don't need to see your father!"

"Yes, I do Richard. He will never talk with you if you tell him, it's about me, at least if I'm there with you, I will be able to probably get some closer."

"I wish you wouldn't, but I know it might be best for you to do, so okay once you done with your food and all, we will go to where he is at with a few guards just in case," he sweetly told her.

"Alright," she replied as she continued to eat.
