Getting Away From Him

~Vince aka Reaper's P.O.V~

It's been about two weeks since Serene arrived here. The swelling in her face has gone down so much more. I can actually see her beautiful colored eyes. The black eyes she once had are nearly gone by now. She was able to walk by herself now, more independent and she's starting to get comfortable around me. Bones had called me this morning saying how Diesel is going ballistic in not being able to find Serene. I need to make her officially mine with my club and the court, that way I know she will be safe away from that bastard. I noticed she can't stand certain smells and every morning before she can even eat she has to vomit. So I had our club doctor come by. Serene was sitting outside in the back porch relaxing enjoying the fresh Montana Air. There was a knock on the front door and I already knew who it was. I walked up to open the door for Dr. Sandy. She wasn't just a doctor of our club, but she was also an old lady. She came by with her 2year old son Shane. I knew why Gunner wouldn't want to watch him alone. He had a face of an angel but man was he a spawn. Haha I still remember the trick this little guy did on his own dad at the clubhouse. It was really early the club girls weren't even up yet, it was myself, gunner, Shane and some of the old ladies cleaning. Us guys were sitting down talking all of a sudden Shane comes running towards us with his hands all red looking like he had blood on his hands. Gunner was freaking out and couldn't get a grip, he didn't know how to handle it. And this little shit looked up his tear eye dad and started laughing. We all looked at him like what the hell. Then he straight up licked his hand. We were all stunned, and the old ladies that were cleaning literally started laughing. One of them came up and was like,

"He rubbed ketchup all over his hands and said he was going to trick you."

Oh man the look of relief and anger flashed across Gunner's face then he just started laughing saying

"Hahaha, you did get me little man."

He lifted him up and took him to wash his hands. Since then he refuses to even watch him alone. Sandy always has to be there. I don't blame him. We walked out back where Serena was sitting and just relaxing. She looked up and her face just lit up, She got up and walked towards us. Little guy took a liking to her right when he saw her. He ran right up to her and she just scooped him right up.

"Hi little guy."

"Hi. are you Uncle Reaper's lady?" Oh man this kid knew what how to get straight to the point. She looked right up to me.

"Hey Shane why don't you, your dad and I go to the garage." She gave me a small cute smile. I walked up to her and got Shane in my arms. I gave her a small side hug since I only had one arm available. I kissed her on the side of her temple and whispered "Sorry sweetheart." She just nodded her head. What she did caught me off guard. She turned her face towards me and place a kiss on the side of my mouth. I wanted her so bad more and more everyday. She's a beautiful woman and she is so gentle and kind. I want to eventually have a family with her. Thoughts that I never knew I would have until I met Serene.
