Getting Away From Him

Serene ~P.O.V ~

I woke up to my body hurting so bad. I slowly crawled my way off my bed. Diesel was still asleep, if an outsider saw this they would think we were a couple. I walked really slow to my closet and got my clothes. I couldn't wear what I normally would wear. I know he left a lot of marks on me, from the way he hit me and just had my body while he took all he wanted. My lips felt swollen and my face felt the same. I'm too scared to look into the mirror. I know if I really look at myself I will break down for sure. I locked my bathroom door, and started to strip down. I made a mistake and glanced myself in the mirror. I started to cry, my bottom lip was busted my face was swollen. I had his hand print around my neck and I had bumps in my head from him pulling my hair so hard. He left me hickeys all over my chest and neck. I couldn't believe how he left me. I got in the shower and scrubbed my body as hard as I could. I cried my heart out as much as possible. I hurried and up and dried off and got dress. I did my morning routine and started to apply a heavy coat of makeup on. I never had to ever wear this much makeup before. I left my hair down to help cover my face as much as possible. I grabbed my purse and keys and headed out the door before he woke up. As soon as I got to my car I drove to the nearest coffee shop. I was in line waiting to order. I heard the roar of motorcycles coming down the street. I literally felt frozen, this can't be happening. But then they just pass, I let out a sigh of relief. After getting my coffee I called the nearest pharmacy, and asked if I needed a prescription for plan B or was it ok to buy over the counter. The good thing was I could stop by on my lunch for it. I got to the shop 5 minutes until I had to open the office. I set my things down and started checking the email, when the garage door opened and Diesel walked in. I didn't look up too scared to see if he was angry or not. He came around my desk and stood behind me. I held my breath, I didn't want to move or say anything scared he might do something to me. He was about to lean down to my ear when Bo walked in.

"Good morning boss, morning sunshine." He looked at me with a worried look, and was about to ask me a question when Diesel took the opportunity to kiss my neck. Bo cleared his throat and excused himself. When Bo left Diesel didn't stop. He even bit my shoulder, I know he had to leave his teeth marks on my shoulder. I gasp out in pain, I tried to move but he kept his grip on me.

"Why didn't you wake me up this morning?"

"I-I'm.. sorry. You looked really peaceful and I didn't want to disturb you." I looked down and he lifted up my chin and placed a kiss on my lips. He noticed how I flinch when he pressed hard on my lips. He made a scowl look on his face.

"Why are you flinching from me? Did you not learn anything last night?" I took a deep breath and answered him.

"My lips hurt. my bottom lip has two deep cuts on it. And my face is swollen. I didn't mean anything by it. I'm just in pain that's all." He looked at my face and finally noticed how much make-up I was wearing. He leaned back down and planted a soft kiss on my lips.

"I'll be in my office, if you need anything come to my office. ok?" I nodded my head and said ok. Once I saw him leave and walk upstairs I wanted to cry so bad but I held it in. at least here I was safe. I'm sure he wouldn't want his men seeing the way he really treats me. I went on with my day being busy and doing my normal; routine. Bo's wife came by the office to bring him some lunch.

"Hi, I'm Lyndsey. You must be Serene." I was surprised she knew my name. I reached out to shake her hand.

"Hi, yes I'm Serene. How you doing?"

"Good, I was actually here to see Bo. Can you please call him?"

"Of course." I grabbed the phone and called Bo over the loud speaker. He came rushing in when I said that there was an emergency in the office. Lyndsey and I Both started laughing at him when he almost slipped on the floor. We were both crying laughing. After a bit we both collected ourselves.

"Well, I'm going out for lunch. Got a couple of things I need to do. You guys enjoy your lunch I'll lock up the office real quick." After our good byes I left the office. Not wanting to have another angry episode of Diesel I decided to call him. After the second ring he answered.

"This is Diesel."

"It's me Serene. I have somethings to do real quick. I wanted to know if you want anything for lunch." I was hoping he wouldn't get upset, I heard him sigh and he finally answered my question.

"Where you going for lunch?"

"I was thinking of going to get a sub from subway. Did you want something else?"

"No, that sounds good. I'll text you what I want."

"Ok, I'll be back in a bit. Bye."

"Bye beautiful." I'm so glad he wasn't upset. I hurried up and went through the drive thru and got the plan B. After listening to the pharmacist on how to take it, I drove over to subway and got Diesel his sub and I got my order. I took the pills and hid the other ones I had to take later in my car. I got out of my car and was surprised when I saw him walking up to me. I couldn't read his mood he had on his dark shades on.
