Getting Away From Him

Hades~P.O.V~

I spent the rest of the day with them. After I played airplanes with all 4 kiddos, it was time for them to eat. Everything felt so right. It's been so long that I felt a peace in my mind and heart. I don't know if it's just being with her and her babies or it's just how we all felt so comfortable with each other. She's been really cautious around me, which I understand the reason why she would be this way. I didn't leave until after dinner time. She made the boys some Mac and cheese with some grilled chicken and broccoli. They actually ate all their food to my surprise. And I helped feed the twin babies. I of course fed little princess and she fed her prince. She was about to get up and serve us a plate when I got up first.
  "I got it. Go ahead get the kiddos comfy while I serve up our plates."
  "Thank you." Was all she said. Once they kids were all settled and watching their favorite show and the babies were in their bouncer chairs relaxing, we were able to sit and eat. I served us some of the grilled chicken and roasted veggies with the Mac and cheese. It was pretty good. Once we were done eating my phone went off. It was one of the guys calling.
  "I'll be right back. I got to take this." With that I stepped outside and answered the call.
"Hey, bro you hiding out or are you coming to the club house. We got some good looking ladies here tonight and some are putting on a good ass show. Hurry up and get over here."
"Uh, yeah I'm not coming through tonight I got plans already. I'll see you guys in the morning for church ok?" After I walked in she was settled on the sofa rocking Vinny in her arms. He was falling asleep, until princess Athen started crying. She kept calling for me and once she saw me she made her pouty face for me to get her. I had to chuckle at her antics to get me to pick her up.
  "I'm so sorry. I know you have club business to attend to."
"Don't be silly they guys just wanted me to go drink with them. I told them I was going to pass on it." She got up and went to lay down baby Vinny on her bed. She came back and got the boys up and had them to go brush their teeth. What surprised me was that they both came running up to be said they were getting away from their mom. Hahah crazy boys. They stopped at my side and asked, "can we have a hug?" I immediately opened up my arm since Athena was in my other arm falling asleep. 
  "Goodnight daddy." Both boys said. It made my heart happy and sad at the same time.
"Goodnight my little guys." I kissed on top of their little heads and they ran to the room. Serene stood there shocked.
  "I don't know what's going on with my kids. They haven't been like this with anyone else besides their fathers. I'm sorry if this makes you uncomfortable at all." I got up and walked over to her making sure my little princess was still sleeping.
  "I told you already I want all this. I want to be here for you and these beautiful kids. I'm not going anywhere." With that I reached down and placed a soft kiss on her lips. All she said was ok. I tried laying down Athena, but man she had a death grip on me. I heard a little chuckle and looked up and it was Serene laughing at me.
   "She's not going to let you go. Your going to have to lay down so she stays asleep. Let me fix the boys so you can have room." She moved the older twins closer to the middle and Vinny laid right next to her and she whispered a good night to me.
   "Goodnight beautiful." I laid on the side making sure Athena was ok before I fell asleep. In the middle of the night Athena had let go of me. But that wasn't what woke me up, it was the sound of someone crying. So I carefully got up and I noticed my beauty was missing. I walked down the hallway and saw her holding two shirts to her face and whimpering. I did feel a little jealous but understood that she was still mourning for them. I walked in and wrapped her in my arms.
   "It's ok beautiful. I'm here with you. Your the strongest woman I know. Cry it out beautiful just let it all out." She was now full on sobbing.
  "Do-do you... know how...hard this has been?...I've... had to deal with the pregnancy all by myself. I'm tired of it all just being me. They left and didn't think of how this was going to affect me or my kids. This is why it's hard to want to let you in. Are you one day going to put yourself in the line of getting hurt and leaving me alone like this too? If you are leave now. I can't do this again. I won't survive if I had to do this alone again. Please don't make me love you too, to end up leaving me all alone." I hugged her to my chest and promised her that I wouldn't leave her alone. We sat on the floor for good time until she got up and stretched her hand out to me. We both walked back to the room. She left their shirts on the floor and I was about to walk on the other side of the bed when she stopped me.
  "I was thinking of selling this house to one of the club members or the club. And buying a new one. I don't want to live here and start this new journey with you, when everything in this house is all them." I totally agreed with her.
  " ok beautiful, I'll bring up to the club during church ok?" She closed the gap between us kissed my lips. 
  "Thank you." After that we both went to lay down. I got up at 5 am the next morning and got my shoes on for church. She and the kids were still asleep so I left as quiet as possible. Once I got to church I told the guys I need to say something.
  "Ok, so you guys may or may not know but I have been spending time with Serene the kids. I have fallen in love with those 4 kiddos and of course Serene. She had a break down last night, all this has been extremely hard for her. We both agreed to start a relationship and she wants to sell the house to the club or a member who is going to take care of it. And cherish it the way the guys would've wanted. So I need to know what you all think of this?" I got some pretty heated stares and then they all started to talk at once. But at the end they all agreed and said the club will buy the house and that I better not do wrong by her or else they will all come for me. I promised and left to see my new family.
